Dear Friends,
some moons ago Murphy and Stanley invited all to write a letter to their pet pal… well, long story short, my momma completely misunderstood the event and she thought ME (Easy) should write a letter to my pal… and so I wrote a letter to Goose. Fortunately my mom got a brainwave (very small) as she read Frankies&Ernies post and turned the corner with a new post, butt there was still this post in my draft… written with my own paws… for my best pal… till today…
GOOSE
well… I first thought that goes easy… you write a letter to your best pal, how much you like him/her and why and that’s it…. butt as if!
That’s not easy… see, I chew on my pen since hours…
…ooops and now I chewed my pen off… Mom! a new pen please!
soooooo… here we go… or here we go NOT… because I still have no clue how to begin… and there is just slobber on my mouth but no pen…
As I met Goose the furst time, he joined the owlympics of Blogville… and he won 87 gold medals for Team US. Isn’t that great? And he not only won medals from gold, he even has a friend what’s made from gold too. His name is Bert and he loves balls and his bathtub… butt not only his friend is golden, the most golden piece of Goose is his heart… what beats for his mom, the peeps and pets of St. Anne’s Shelter, his Gal Pal Belle and as I mentioned Bert and his Vickie… and the animals and the mountains what are directly in front of his crib and all the two- and fourlegged things of slice earth…
Goose also is very smart. Yes. He is a Weimaraner.. duh! And there is no intelligence toy what can keep its secret longer than two seconds… that toys are made for pups butt not for Weimaraners….
And because Goose is very smart I can learn a lot… how to make a nest with a fluffy blankie… how to sleep in a tent, yeah I know all things in theory now, we only need a tent and I learnt what I have to do when I meet a Rattler… yep, step on its head and make your wasn’t me face…
And for all that I love my brother Goose and I bet… no, I’m sure! we are actually related, because that type of Weim we are became rare during the years where the trend went from rustic and stunnig working Weims to smaller and small framed pups…
And I’m not the only one who loves Goose, bet a lot of Blogvillers love him and the pawson who loves him the most is his momma. And so I hope so much that this love will never end…
Love ya Brother…
xoxo EASY
…and now brother ,I had to learn the bitter truth… you had to go yesterday… it was time…. butt I didn’t change my post to write it in past tense… for me you are always there… in my heart and in my memory… and I know that you will look at me from the other side… and maybe you sometimes will shake your head or you will smile at me ….the silly silvermistygrey monkey…
…with the Goose-blankie…
…and the yellow chameleon I’ve got from you…
That is a lovely, lovely letter and tribute to Goose. Our thoughts and love go out to all of Goose’s friends and his mom, Michelle.
Run free Goose.

Easy, our hearts are breaking for you, your entire family and Goose’s family.
We only knew Goose through you….we read about him oh so many times on your blog, all of the funny stories, the great presents he sent to you and all of your Weimeraner (sp?) adventures…..your deep love and friendship for and with Goose, was evident in ALL of your posts.
Our hearts are breaking because we know how hard it is to lose a friend. But, you are only losing Goose in the physical sense. He will always be with you and your friendship will never end.
What makes blogging so hard, is we all develop friendships and love with dogs and cats and more, all over the world…..and we wish we could all go on forever. Goose WILL always live on forever in your heart, on both of your blogs , and I am sure he will protect you from above.
Our hearts go out to you, Goose’s family and to all in Blogville who knew and loved him (we wish we had known him), because he was obviously so deeply loved. That is truly special, just like you and your family Easy.
With much love and sympathy,
Caren and Dakota
