yesterday we had the first of advent and that means I had to ponder what kind of Christmas we will have this year. Guess what? We will have an

cool huh? We will have the best food of OZ , butt sadlyΒ  Bev can’t come in pawson to manage the foodables, butt she will reach a helping paw over the big pond. I invited Men at Work and Kylie and we will decorate the house with some snakes and crocodiles in green and gold… oh and whileΒ  we speak about christmas decorations…

Do you have a special plan for Christmas too?

  1. You had me at ‘Rudolph the noseless reindeer’, I’m gonna be singing that all day now !
Hope Dad continues to improve and Mum’s bruisings are fading. Good job they’ve got you there to look after them Easy !
    Loves and licky kisses

  2. LOL an Australian Christmas sounds like fun Easy. Loving Rudolph the noseless reindeer. Hope all is well at your crib and nice to be back. Have a marvellous Monday.
    Best wishes Molly

  3. What a super idea – hope you get their Christmas weather too πŸ˜€

  4. fozziemum says:

Oh Easy sounds like so much fun…not for Rudolph who needs a plastic surgery holiday to Thailand now bwahahaah….as for the Xmas pee/tree ..whoops…It’s ok..one year Doc peed on our Santa…bit disgraceful really…but hey ..I had been using him as a threat whenever Doc was naughty “Santa is watching you!” he would go and run and sit in front of Santa…so I guess one day he decided ” Are you watching this fatman!” bwahahah…much loves Fozziemum ..xxxx pee ess I will try and wrangle a flight to your crib πŸ˜‰ xx

  5. Cupcake says:

I never really bought that whole red nose thing. It’s just as well that you did a surgery on him. Australian Christmas will be fun.

    Love and licks,

  6. Midwestern Plant Girl says:

Easy! Did you chew up your “Elf on the Shelf”? (Elfontheshelf . Com)
You’re gonna be in trouble! Who is gonna tell santa what a good boy you’ve been this year? No one will believe mom, you’ve got her wrapped around your paw!
We’ve been backing down on celebrating here. Too much commercialism. Trying to go back to love and family, not buy, buy, buy!

  7. Well Easy it looks like you’re off to a grand start on your Australian Christmas! You’ve murdered Rudolph, left peemail on your Christmas tree (and blamed it on your Dad!), and who knows WHAT else you have planned for your Aussie Holiday! I always enjoy seeing how your Mom decorates your crib for the holiday since you pick a different country’s traditions every year…….we’re having a boring old Virginia Christmas in my house.

    Hugs, Sammy

  8. fredrieka says:

well Rudolph will not play in any reindeer games this year woof Good Job Easy

  9. Emmadog says:

We decorated over the weekend. Now Bailie can’t be home alone unless she is in her kennel. Mom doesn’t trust her. Mom was busy at home here and Bailie took the arm right off the snowman. Luckily, she was caught before she destroyed it and it was able to be reattached. Happy December!

  10. sally says:

You’re gonna have to banish that snow from your crib cos thats not part of an Australian christmas. This is an Aussie white christmas

Also you’ll need to make prawns and pavlova then turn the central heating up so far that you will have to make a water slide out of an old tarp and the garden sprinkler just to cool down before you watch the cricket. Too easy Easy

    • I will make a paw-lova of course :o) and a rocky road and we will have the white christmas only in our tummies :o)
I hope we are brave enough to celebrate with a BBQ on the beach while wearing a Paw-kini :o)

  11. DailyMusings says:

Good work on Rudolph Easy! Hope things are looking up in your crib and I look forward to see the decorating commence! Have a Marvelous Monday! ❀ πŸ™‚

  12. Ruby and Angel Pip says:

Bawhahaha! Love your funny Monday posts. Nice work on Rudolph!

  13. My MOM has agreed to put up our 1 foot tree and of course my card holder. I have already received a Christmas card. No theme in my house. Well unless you consider joy a theme. I see you have taken care of the Red Nosed Reindeer. You only have 8 more to go.

  14. An Australian Christmas sounds like fun! We have a foot and a half ceramic Christmas tree with lights that my Mom made for us over 40 years ago up and plugged in.. it is dear to my heart. A wreath will find its way to the front door today if somebody gets all in the HoHoHo spirit, candle lights in the windows and best of all.. a biscuit barrel full of Hershey’s candy kisses!

  15. Reilly & Denny says:

Nothing beats an Aussie Christmas – beautiful blue skies, temps in the 40-45 C range, having the oven on to cook a turkey make the inside of the house feel like 50 C……but of coarse then there is the smart Aussies who just have a big old outdoor barbecue…..burnt meat, shrimp on the barbie and sunburn – it’s the best πŸ™‚

  16. The only big plans I want for Christmas is for Glory to have puppies πŸ™‚

  17. Mental Mama says:

My family will all be gone at Christmas this year. 😦

  18. amkuska says:

Hmm, if I ever decide to do my durable toy test, I’m sending the toys your way Easy.

  19. Kyla says:

If you’re going to have a genuine Aussie Christmas, you need to turn on your air conditioner, put it on the max settings, and the fan on “blast”. That’s what the Aussies are doing. It will be fun for you.

  20. Two French Bulldogs says:

Oh boy! How many stitches did it need?
    Lily & Edward

  21. BOL! Easy, your dad tried to mark your Christmas tree with his broken sprinkler?!? Now that’s a laugh…poor sot needs better aim. We haven’t decorated yet but oh, the neighbors have tons of lights outside. We are always slow pokes for decorating because all Ma ever thinks about is how the decos will have to come down. Well, duh!

  22. Well done Easy! Actually, you will see in our post TOMORROW that we did some decorating!

    Your Pals,

    Murphy & Stanley

  23. PigLove says:

Snorticles. I like the way you decorate my brother. We have our Mickey Mouse Christmas pole up. It helps mommy with her exercise – snorts. And to tell you the truth, the pole stays out year round now that I think about it. HHHMMM – sounds like a posting for my blog – snorts. XOXO – Bacon

    • absolutely…. that’s worth a postie hehehe:o) have you seen how stylish I ate the giant bone I’ve got from you?

      • PigLove says:

YES! You are the dog my brother. I may have to show that video to Houdini here to take pointers. Why do mothers split bones? Mommy did the same thing to Hou-Hou last night. I just laughed and snorted thinking of your situation. XOXO – Bacon

      • my dad said that has something to do with the fact, that Eve was made once from a rib of Adam, they are made by halving things and so they halve all things :o) shall I tell you a secret? I ate the half of the bone and then I barked like crazy and my dad thought I lost that thingy… and instead to search for the invisible bone he gave me the second half of the bone :o)

      • PigLove says:

oohhh awesome technique brother. I will so have to tell that to Houdini for future reference. And I will also note it for myself. I wonder how many things I can “hide” somewhere before mom notices my stock pile? Snorts. XOXO – Bacon

  24. Wow….you’ve accomplished a LOT already!!!!

Wow Rudolph got a makeover! Decorating is so much fun isn’t it? πŸ™‚

  28. Our Mom is kinda slow with the Christmas decorations. She says she has to recover from having houseguests for Thanksgiving first BOL!
    Mr Bailey & Hazel

  29. kolytyi says:

Poor dad, no wonder that he sought a safe place for his sprinkling work where he cannot be ruined by a mom-shaped hurricane!

  30. Well, let’s hope its not foggy Christmas Eve or Santa will bwe running into everyone’s walls. You could have taken out Dasher rather than Rudolph…we want our presents this year! hahaha

  31. Brian says:

MOL! I’ll bet that’s the last time you get invite to play in the reindeer games Easy!

  32. dollythedoxie says:

Hi Easy sorry we’ve been absent for a few days. I hope you and your family will all be fixed by Christmas! Love Dolly

  33. BOL, you’ve been busy!

  34. harrispen says:

We can’t wait to see all your Australian decorations. Our mom plans on the usual decorations along with our massive card collection of course.

    Millie & Walter

  35. An Australian Christmas sounds FAB!! You can have a barbecue instead of turkey!
    Wally & Sammy

  36. tylersat99 says:

Not yet Easy, we have to work around a puppy that’s probably going to take down, off or tear up everything we put out!

  37. OMG! Aussie Christmases are the best! Not that I ever had any other type. I hope the sprinkling system gets better and better! ❀

  38. Crikey ….. An Aussie Christmas!!!! That’s exciting….. if you need any help with how it’s done let me know, aye?? Are you going to the beach??

  39. Easy you are just a puppy never to grow up LOL πŸ™‚

  40. stanze says:

“Rudolph the noseless reindeer” is such a catchy song, you should perform it on tv or at least on the local Christmas market, if they have something like that where you live.

  41. An Australian Christmas? So everything in the house will be upside down then? So how will we tell the difference…
    Toodle pip!

  42. dogdaz says:

You really did poor Rudolph in. Watch for Wordless Wednesday’s when Sofie shows you her series this month with her Rudolph. She can’t unstuff him, since he is a water bottle inside. You crack us up always. We love you Easy. Have a great Aussie Xmas – Your friends at DogDaz Zoo

  43. Stella Rose says:

This year we have our tree in the room where we all spend most of our time, the family room, so mom stopped decorating it about 3/4 of the way down so we would not rearrange and eat and destroy the ornaments while she is at work and we also have no tree skirt or presents…it is very pretty though although at night we have to wear our shades cos the brightness hurts our eyes. We sure hope your da feels better real soon, we are keeping him in our prayers.
    stella rose

  44. I love this! My dog Buster de-nosed my collectible reindeer I’ve had since I was a baby (30 years) and I shamed pictured him lol. Your baby is so precious!

  50. Nylabluesmum says:

No plans yet Easy…..I will live vicariously thru you ok???
Great decorating there my friend πŸ˜‰
    Love Sherri-Ellen ❀ ❀

  51. Mumsy's Little Chancy Man says:

Sweet Easy we don’t think we know any dog, cat or person who can top your decorating…you have to be the king of decorators. An Australian Christmas, that sounds like fun! We have no plans…we have not even decorated. Hugs and nose kisses

  52. Sounds like you’re having way to much fun, Easy! Maybe you’ll have Christmas around the world this year. Our plans are that both daughters will be home as well as one of my s-i-l’s (at least for a few days.) Time to start decorating, too.

  53. Clowie says:

I’m sure that if you did anything to Rudolph it was in self defence!

  54. hmmm not so nice!
why would you discriminate against Rudolph?
did you try to make him talk about your Xmas gifts this year and he wouldn’t share a secret?

  55. The naughty gremlin elves put your comments in my spam folder but I found them. Merci bien. An Aussie xmas sounds purrfect because it’s summer down there!

  56. We see that you were providing the snow and the “yellow”. Don’t think your Mom and Dad were too please with you on that one Easy. Luv ya πŸ™‚
    Marty and the Gang

  57. Sage says:

You have so out-done me, Easy. If Mom would just get busy getting some decorations up, I might be able to try out some of that sprinkling stuff. I did make some white stuffy snow. Does that count?

  58. We would like to partake in an Australian Christmas! It sounds so exotic and Pawtastic!
    Wyatt and Stanzie

  59. cecilia07 says:
