it’s time to shop around the world with Fozziemum and Bacon.

This time:

Let’s face it, we are guys from the ole world. That means when it comes to Popcorn and BBQ and much other cool things, we are suckers and dilettantes. We always buy microwave-popcorn, that’s far away from the REAL stuff, I know, I know…

so sweet popcorn 3 x 100 grams for 1.99 euros ($$2.47)

We don’t do the beer thingy. My dad drinks one from time to time, my mom never again, because of a neardeath-experience as she was 7 years old… imagine that… she was…SEVEN! Butt people&pets from France are hardcore wine tipplers. That led to a weird in law 2012, where all cardrivers had to have breathalyzers in their car. THAT’S NO JOKE, friends. Fortunately in 2013 this screaming farce went to the trash can, before the next step probably  would be to carry along your own  handcuffs in case you get arrested. Butt the plan was succeeded, the manufacturer  is rich now, the backlog of breathalyzers is history and we can fart in all that useless thingies.  Butt back to the wine…

We only drink a glass of wine on howl-i-days or for a special reason (because we wasted too much money for the breathalyzers), butt if we drink a glass or a bottle, we pick a good one.

The Mouton Cadet of Baron Philippe de Rothschild, 0.75 liters=11.50 euros ($$14.26)

it’s the perfect allrounder for a party, a christmas dinner or if you have sorrows you want to drink away with “The first cut is the deepest” or “Nothing compares 2 you” in an endless loop…

We buy it only rarely. That’s because of my mom’s butt. And we only buy milk chocolate, never dark chocolate, that’s also because of  my mom’s butt, butt for another reason…My mom is a fan of Cadbury’s, of course it’s super tasty. But while meandering through the sweets-department, she discovered this one:

it’s made by Poulain, what belongs to Cadbury’s since many moons. It’s called 1848 and boy, this chocolate IS a revolution! You haven’t to enter the Bastille, butt you will lose your head too! I have no clue what they have done with their nuts, I bet it’s something what’s either disgusting or totally harmful or both, butt anyway, that stuff is a revolution AND a revelation! My momma never saw such giant nuts! … sorry dad…

one bar with 200 grams is: 3.45 pounds – 4.36 euros ($$ 5.40)

Ice cream.

Two words: Ben & Jerry

a small bucket  of strawberry-cheesecake (NOT homemade by my mom) with 122 grams is : 1.99 euros ($$2.47) that’s a shame, because this itsy bitsy tiny bucket is just a morsel for a Weimaraner…

Random Item.

I picked gingerbread, because it’s the time for that stuff since august in our stores. Probably the plan is to bomb you with all that christmessy things from august on, so you can’t see it anymore till december and you grab the easter stuff like a drowned the last straw.

Feine Nuremberger Elisen Lebkuchen, 300 grams for 2.79 euros ($$ 3.46)… and for that price that Lebkuchen never saw Nuremberg, that’s for sure…

Don’t forget the BLACK FRIDAY on friday, my crazy momma parked her butt on last friday in front of the compawter and cursed at the whole world because nothing happened… have I mentioned, that she is the one with SIX pawlenders?

Have a super wednesday all!

  1. Wasn’t that breathalyser thing a farce! Funnily enough, the minister who introduced the requirement seems to have a relative in the manufacturing of …. you guessed it.

  2. fozziemum says:

Easy my friend a great list..i of course due to homework and pee patrol…have nailed doing mine…urghhh…I love chockie too and did you know I worked in the Cadbury Factory…oh yes eating my weight in wages ..surprised I never became an Oompa Loompa….I did this for many many years…and never got sick of the taste 🙂 …what a crazy law…we have breathalyzers here for cars but they are fitted to cars owned by people who have lost their licence form drink driving….as for popcorn…yep I microwave too….and always get the hard bits that refuse to burst open…thanks for a great list and I am so sorry that Bacon has the solo task of it this month…much loves Fozziemum xxx

    • oh yes, I remember… do you know what they have done with this nuts?… or no wait… I don’t want to know it :o)
our booze heads drive micro cars without a driving licence, they are as dangerous as Black Mambas and I wish they would make a law against this micro cars, even when you never had a licence you can mess up the traffic with such a friggin ride :o(

      • fozziemum says:

Haha no idea about the nuts my friend..but I know that everything I saw was pretty well fresh and A-OK 🙂 yikes drunk French driving micro cars…sounds like Peter Sellers movie…is there a Pink Panther involved somewhere ? hahaaha 🙂 loves Fozziemum xx

      • probably the Pink Panther ended as road kill :o) they are sent from hell and although the cars are curbed to 25km/h (and mostly hopped up via DIY) they are guarantors for the worst accidents ever. I can’t understand why one of our neighbors who lost his licence for a failed vision test drives around with such a devils ride :o(

      • fozziemum says:

Jeez I would make sure you kept clear of these bumper cars my friend..you have a bad track record for luck these past months!!! around here they are terrible drivers…70 in 100km zone causing peeps to overtake dangerously..where we used to live had the highest incidence of deaths on the road..due to speed speed and more speed people are nuts…:)

  3. dezizworld says:

  4. And now the hooman is hungry!

  5. Wow Easy…..as if there weren’t enough problems in the world there are now breathalizers in cars?? Good grief…..well, thank heavens you don’t have your drivers license right? Your dew claw in the photos doesn’t look as RED as it did – is it better my friend??? I hope so! I think some Ben and Jerry’s might TOTALLY heal that thing……what do you think???

    Hugs, Sammy

    • what a weird idea huh? the worst was that you had to replace them regularly too when they were dated. fortunately this bad joke disappeared after a year…
the dew claw is a little better, but I still lick and chew on that thingy :o)

  6. Midwestern Plant Girl says:

Your leader and mine can both stuff themselves! What a nut ball.
We would get along great with a box of chocolates. I like dark and we wouldn’t argue!

  7. DailyMusings says:

Ben & Jerry’s is just $2.47? It is almost $5.00 here!! You have listed all my favorites- and especially that Cadbury chocolate 🙂

    • it’s just a small bucket with 122 grams…. approx. the size of an egg cup.. and there is much room between the lid and the icecream for the “spoon”… but at least the wooden spoon-thingy was for free :o)

  8. cecilia07 says:

    Easy my friend,
We should be very glad our food isn’t as expensive as the peeps. They would put us to work on the chain gang. We hope you, Dad and Mom are feeling better and better each day
    Hugs madi your bfff

    • that’s THE point, Madi…. they waste so much money for shock-o-lates and booze without batting an eyelash and the next minute they howl about the prices for dog treats…and ponder about jobs in a coalmine for pets…

  9. merbear74 says:

    Yuck, gingerbread. :o)

  10. fredrieka says:

I love popcorn especially when momwithoutpaws misses her mouth and it ends up on the floor

  11. Easy, they actually passed a law that you had to have your own breathalyzer in your car?!? That is the craziest idea I have ever heard….I sure hope no one in the US hears of this useless law as you know we are really good at passing those kinds. BOL Oh, Ma was drooling over the chocolate. So great that you shared all these fun things with us.

    • Fortunately this joke disappeared in 2013… after we all had to buy that useless thingies… what a rip off:o(
fortunately my mom bought only two single breathalyzers, but some peeps bought a whole box (probably those who really needed it, huh?)

  12. we are also fans of Cadbury chocolate – only Engish or Australian cadbury though 🙂

  13. PigLove says:

OMP – I can’t believe they had breathalyzers in the cars – unbelievable. I can just imagine people using them, cuffing themselves and driving the themselves or calling the cops to pick them up. Too funny! Mommy is trying to lick my computer screen at the chocolates. Sadly her butt is not winning this holiday season. It’s growing – snorts. But sshh – don’t tell her brother. XOXO – Bacon

    • bro that was a thang…. all peeps bought that trash and if the police stopped you without such a thingy you got a fine. the best was that the same year the ECJ said that this disposable sets have NO cogency because they are flaky…I sometimes think some peeps of that Elysée palace escaped from Jack Nicholsons Cuckoo’s nest…

  14. Mental Mama says:

    Ben & Jerry’s all the way! 🙂

  15. Brian says:

You got some good stuff for a heck of a crazy pawty Easy!

  16. Clowie says:

That breathalyser thing sounds crazy – I bet some people’s cars wouldn’t go at all!!

  17. Kyla says:

They have wine with dinner every day. They’d go broke with genuine Bordeaux although you can spend a LOT more than you do for Bordeaux but that’s just crazy. Wines from Chile are very good. They even have wineries here in Arizona!

    • that’s true… but I’ve heard that the really expensive wines are still produced with naked feet and my mom can’t deal with that :o) and expensive wine is not good to drink your sorrows away… if you drowned one, the next appears when you get the bill for the wine :o) We like wine from Chile too :o) I’ve heard about the stronghold wines of AZ, sadly I haven’t seen them in our stores by now :o(

      • Kyla says:

He had a date where she said “Let’s have an after dinner cognac”. “Sure”, and when the bill came, He ordered another because the cognacs were so expensive that he need another one to sign for the bill.

  18. Sarge says:
