SHOP TILL YOU DROP

Bacon’s and Fozziemum’s Shopping around the world…

Today we shop for:

Water:

We buy a lot of water, not only my mom drinks it every day, I’m a water drinker too. We always buy still water, because the time as my mom tried to burp songs with using soda or sparkling water are over (fortunately because she failed and produced a giant mess).
We buy Vittel for her and WHATEVER WATER for me. Yes, I get mineral water too and that’s not  because the sun shines out  of our butts with prosperity , it’s because the water what comes through the faucet has a strange smell sometimes…
Hers is 6×75 cl = 2.99 euros ($$3.96)

augshop1

Mine is 6×2.0 liters = 1.20 euros ($$ 1.56)

IMG_0094

butt there are dinosaurs on the bottle… so it must be good….

IMG_0093

….ahmm Mom that aren’t dinosaurs, that are mountains… probably your water is adulterated with methyl alcohol and therefore it costs more than mine… just saying…

Bath Soap:

We always use shower gel and there we look first for the sign, that it is cruelty free….

augshop3

my mom buys tons of that stuff. Maybe she got skunked once that she spend so much time in the bathtub…who knows?
Currently her favorite is:
augshop4
Treaclemoon Cool  Melon Fresca, NOT tested on anipals – 500ml 4.99 euros ($$ 6.58)

It’s available in many styles and you can buy bodylotions or handcream and whatnot with the same scent too. There is always a cooking or baking  recipe on the back of every bottle and real “smarties” make  cookies with using that stuff (that was DEFINITELY  NOT suggested on the bottle) and they wonder that the cookies  are totally inedible and that the kitchen smells like the laboratory of Gyro Gearloose, right Mom?

Deodorant:

We don’t use deodorant, because my momma says it wrecks the scent of her perfume, even when she would use a deodorant without a smell. We use a salt-crystal deo stick instead. You have to wet it with water and then you rub it on the stinky places, VOILA! Mission accomplished… client deskunked. And that thingy sustains  furever and ever… Thanks Overlook Twins, nice try, but not your turn today…clear off!
otwins

IMG_0092
Murnauers crystal deo stick extra strong: 100gram = 2.07 euros ($$ 2.73) suffices furever and ever…. Ok, well that’s an old story…

Laundry Detergent

We mostly buy OMO, that’s a detergent as old as dirt and it reminds my momma of her childhood. One of the things of the past what still has the same smell. YAY! Don’t be afraid for the price (yes, that stuff is not cheap  here) it’s a pack with 8kg what’s enough for 110 laundry loads (that’s a promo-lie, it’s enough for 90and something washer- loads, butt anyway), 8kg (17.64lbs) are 51.48 euros (including tax) – ($$ 67.94)

augshop2

Random Item

Here I proudly present the ultimate and amazing STICKY BUDDY! naaah it’s not the laptop what got a soda shower it’s this one:

IMG_0089IMG_0091

you can remove dirt and dog hairs, from carpets, clothes and car seats in zilch. it has a scratching thingy and a sticky roll and with that thingy you can chase every dirt away…. says Anthony Sullivan. And you will get an additional wonder-thingy: a travel size dirt remover, when you accidentally land in Norman Bates  howltel, where you have to clean the room first, before you can sleep there.

IMG_0090

Mom bought it in her junk store for legendary 2.95 euros ($$3.89)! That’s unbelievable, right?

Butt will it work like promised?

IMG_0095

How shall I know that….

IMG_0096

I’ve tested that thingy while mom wrote this post….seems, we will never know if it works or not…

HAVE A SUPER SHOPPING TRIP ALL

  1. Interesting! I’ve never heard of that deodorant thingy before. I need to find a new one because I don’t like the way this one I’m using smells either. That detergent is expensive, but that is a huge amount too so I guess it’s about right. It’s pretty expensive here too.

  2. Thanks for the tip on Sticky Buddy – we need a few car loads of those 😀

  3. LOL that sticky buddy thing is a blast from the past. We remember those. Nice trasheaure find. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
    Best wishes Molly

  4. My Mom says she’s not heard of that deodorant thing either….interesting! Laundry detergent isn’t cheap here either but what is? Everything is expensive these days…however, our gasoline for the car just went below $3.00 a gallon for the first time in forever so there’s hope. HAHA That Sticky Buddy thing is STILL in stores around here…different name but the action is the same (hey – is that a poem?!).

    Hugs, Sammy

    • the old price of that thingy was 29.95… wonder who bought that thingy once… it was killed within 2 minutes, so it is probably not really quality lol the gas price exploded here too, probably because of the holiday period :o(

  5. WalkToRio says:

I like that deodorant. I get mine from the US, haven’t been able to find one that I like in here.
I fear the time of the month when I have to buy cleaning products. Detergent and fabric softeners are so damn expensive. I gotta learn to make my own detergent, without lard cuz that thing stinks.

  6. Midwestern Plant Girl says:

The ‘Shticky’ never worked for me. One full roll and it was full. Maybe it would work for you, as your hair is a bit shorter. My pups have l o n g hair.

  7. DailyMusings says:

Oh the sticky buddy is sold in the dollar stores here, but maybe it doesn’t stick so well. I never heard of a deodorant like that- the main question is if it leaves white streaks on your shirt after pulling on your shirt?? I have yet to find one that doesn’t!

  8. fozziemum says:

Hahaaah oh Easy thanks for joining us on our shopping trip 🙂 yes detergent is crazy expensive! and I think all peeps hate that week when all cleaning products have run out! luckily we have great water on tap here..no problems at all..but in the state of Adelaide EWWWWW …as for the Sticky buddy ..well if you have not already done it get mum to check the Youtube comedy version if the ad…had me in fits….it really is hilarious and a tad rude hahahaahaha 🙂 hugs and loves Fozziemum xxx

    • sadly the sticky buddy is a dead buddy now :o( I think we should buy the undies of your post, so we haven’t to buy that expensive detergent stuff. fortunately my parents buy the fabric softener and the detergent in germany, so I haven’t to buy it often here. We pay 3.29 for the snuggle-softener, in germany it is 0.89-1.19… that’s scandalous…

      • fozziemum says:

Good grief Easy..it is cheaper to stink hahaaah..seriously check out the sticky buddy video..make sure mum has not got a drink near the computer she will lose it hahaahah it is a classic hahaahh 🙂 and you can buy those undies…or I can mail some..i still have one pair hahahaahah 🙂

      • haaaa! the woman with the poodle!!!! I laughed my ass off… fortunately we have NO pussy hair in my crib LOL

      • fozziemum says:

Bwahaaaaahhahah hilarious …always cracks me up bwahhaahhah the guys voice is exactly the same hahahah 🙂

  9. We have seen the rock salt deodorant before but it is hard to find around here and we tried the sticky buddy – it didn’t work for us either.

  10. Goose says:

Very very interesting. You get bottled water?!!! WOW. Know where I get my water? The toilet. That’s right I drink out of the potty. I know some might be all grossed out by that. BUTT here is why my MOM lets me. It is fresh water (there is no stink to my toilet water, it is clean (MOM does not use chemicals or stuff like that, she keeps it sparking clean with elbow grease which is free), it’s always full with fresh clean water, I do not have to bend down to get a sip its at the perfect height for a Goose like me, I do not make any water messes on the floor. And finally it does not bother my MOM that I do this. Have I said to much???? Oh well it’s the truth. Butt how cool would it be if I could get my MOM to fill it with bottled water?
    Blessings,
    Goose

    • Goose, brother, I’m not sure if it works to fill bottled water in a potty bowl… think that’s like that what this greek guy named sisiphos did once :o) Butt I agree with you, that’s the bestest bowl ever. Since I had a bad adventure with the lid, I’m a little bit scary to use the neverending waterbowl :o)

  11. PigLove says:

Sighs with relief. Thanks goodness I’m not the only one that drinks bottled water. I was wondering about that brother. Awesome – I still think you’re right about that – we are long lost twins for sure. Brothers from a different mother – that’s it!
Great of you to play along this month – we really appreciate that. That deodorant stick thingy looks interesting. You can’t beat the price on it for sure! XOXO – Bacon

    • can you drink from the bottle too? I can do that but with a giant flood around me. Mom said that’s anyway a good idea to use bottled water, so she can see how much I drink :o) wait till friday when you see my plast from the past lol

      • PigLove says:

I can’t wait for Friday – it’s going to be another fun and wonderful day brother!
Mommy just pours my bottled water in my bowl – she’s a spoil sport like that – snorts. XOXO – Bacon

  12. “not because the shine shines out of our butts with prosperity”… dying!
    Must check out that deodorant!

  13. stella rose says:

Wesa haf seen the rock solid deo around in our stores also but nevers tried it yet, mom says maybe she should try some on our stinky butts, we haf never heard of the clothes soap but isn’t it nice that it takes you back to your childhood, mom says those kinds of smells are good, ……we drink tap water cos our mom is a cheapo and it tastes good to us, we didn’t even know you could drink out of the toilet until we read Goose’s post, …..no wonder mom keeps the gate across the door, plus we could not even reach it….geeze louise! stella rose

    • I agree it’s great that some things we loved as a child are still the same. My mom always loved the smell of the laundry in her grannies back yard :o) Our water here isn’t the best, probably because it comes through a nearly prehistoric water supply system. I loved the big bowl in the bathroom till the lid landed on my head once…. since then I avoid that place :o)

  14. raisingdaisy says:

My water just comes from the sink unless we’re traveling, then I get the good bottled stuff. I like to drink it while its pouring out of the bottle into my travel bowl. Travel water is fun! 🙂

  15. You are such a great shopper, Easy! Butt…..where are the treats….and the cake?

  16. cecilia07 says:

Easy shopping around the world is quite enlightening. Jumpin’ catfish that washing detergent must be very very good. We are not familiar with it but it sounds like you get a lot of clothes cleaned for the price. Mom has to use Arm and Hammer detergent that has no aroma or dye of anything and Dove body soap for sensitive skin…..she is such a baby.
    Hugs madi your bfff

    • It’s not really the real mc coy but mom loves it for the smell ( she is nuts). I like things with no aroma too, it tooks me hours to make that the bed smells like me and not like mom’s omo-stuff. Is your mom allergic for that things?

  17. Two French Bulldogs says:

We think all our prices are way to expensive compared to your stuff
    Snorts,
    Lily & Edward

  18. Kyla says:

What’s this “saguaro” water? They import Arizona water? I don’t even see a saguaro on the label. I wouldn’t trust it.

    • Kyla, you’re totally right. I thought there is a desert and if they had water there they wouldn’t import it to france to sell it here for 1.20 euros :o) I feel a little like Mariah Carey who loves only water what comes from outer space :o)

  19. Easy, does that non-deodorant deo actually work or are your peeps stinky all the time? BOL Interesting prices, my friend. Oh…did you see my post announcing the winners of the Bad Poetry Contest? You kinda got an honorable mention…sort of…you should check (and pardon my French as we speak Spanish here).
    Oz

  20. Frankie and Ernie says:

Those prices look HIGH compared to HERE across the pond…
OMD you ALWAYS get to drink from the Water BOTTLE thingy… We love doing that… but only get to do it when we go away from our hill.

    • its because of the ole water system here, sometimes it smells like moldy :o( and the empty bottles are a great toy :o)… also the bottles what are NOT empty, butt that makes my momma angry like that birds lol

  21. Brian says:

You are such a great shopper Easy! I may have to start exploring different items MOL!

  22. Wow you laundry detergent is very expensive!! We have our own well to get our water from. have not heard of the deodorant thingy, maybe amazon has one!
    hugs
    Mr Bailey, Hazel & Greta

  23. Emmadog says:

I got scared when I read don’t use deodorant, but then it was cleared up with the crystal. Mom tried that once but it didn’t work out for her. We can’t buy water because Mom drinks too much and it would be too expensive. She just uses our tap water which we drink too and we are all alive 🙂 Happy shopping!

  24. We never heard of that deodorant before! And your clothes soap is much more expensive than ours. The Cruelty label is wonderful, we don’t have that here. So did you teach your mom about PicSay Pro now? We might put up another lesson, a short one, on making those photos where it is all black and white except for 1 thing. It is VERY easy to do!

  25. dezizworld says:

OMC Easy all ow eyes wuz buggin’ out when we saw da purrice of laundwy detergent!!! Weez wuldn’t evew hav clean clothes ifin weez had to pay dat. MOL Mommy sez hers clothes wuld be so dirty they wuld stand on their own. MOL As fur da sticky buddy…..it works purretty well. Not as pawsum as advertised, but purretty well indeed. Mommy bought one when Wally worls cleawanced them and hers bought it fur $2.00. Hav a pawsum day.

    Luv ya’

    Dezi

  26. The OP Pack says:

That OMO is mega pricey!!! Even for 110 loads. But if it works well, why not? We get our water from the fridge – it has filters and the water tastes pretty good AND it is nice and cold:)

Thanks for the shopping trip – lots of fun to see what people have in other parts of the world – we have never heard of that deo stick:) Pawsonally we like our own stink – BOL.

Woos – Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning

  27. I love Vittel too but why is your water half the price???

  28. It's Dog or Nothing says:

Oh my gosh, we used to use the sticky buddy all the time!

  29. Sagira says:

So fun learning about prices over the pond. 🙂

  30. We like seeing the different products from around the world.

  31. fernerose says:

Easy,,, we and when Zoie was here she had wonderful well water that is on our property! It is the best water I have had my whole life and I have been here for 41 years now drinking the great water!!! I am sure it has helped me be as healthy as I am!!! When I first moved here in 1973 April!!! By June I had the water tested and the guy who came out to test it was so shocked at how pure it was and it taste the best ever!! We are so lucky!!!!

  32. Run A Muck Ranch says:

Fozziemum had disposable men’s underwear. Where is your disposable men’s underwear???

  33. Thanks for the reviews Easy – I thought those were dinosaurs too.

  34. Lee says:

Oh I like these post when you tells us what you use and price. At the price of laundry detergent Lee says Cowabunga our budget would have nothing left for food.
    The packaging is interesting.
    Thanks for being a friend
    Sweet William The Scot

  35. Sarge says:

    Hey Easy!
Wow, great shopping this time! I got all stuck on the dinosaurs versus mountains thing and laughed my tail off. BWAR HAR HAR OMD that’s a great sticky buddy and Mom says she needs one right away because my butt fur is flying everywhere. Whatever. ahem.
    Grr and Woof,
    Sarge, Pol Comm

  36. Shiva & Jaya says:

Washing detergent is yuk. It stinking big time.

Mom sometimes washing our blankies. We no liking that AT ALL.

  37. OMO…. OMG!!! I work the laundry detergent aisle, and even two bottles of top of the line Tide do the same number of loads and cost only a third as much. We have huge bottles of a detergent called Xtra that claim to last 110 loads that sell for $4.96 a bottle…. though I’m sure they’re nowhere near the quality of OMO. I spilled some Xtra on my shirt the other night, and it didn’t even stain! I doubt it’s much more than colored water…

    • we have a detergent here waht’s called Xtra too, but I’m not sure if it is the same. The worst is that it is mixed here with “savon de marseille” the smell is like a weapon of mass destruction :o(

  38. Mom about died with sticker shock over your laundry soap prices Easy! Then we all had a good laugh at your deconstruction of the roller MOL!

  39. bichonpawz says:

We love going shopping with you Easy! Goose’s explanation of his water drinking is hilarious!! BOL! We would need steps to reach ours! Your detergent is very expensive…but most stuff is…right?? We drink regular water from our fridge most of the time, but when we travel…we get special bottled water…which is SO great! Xo Chloe and LadyBug

  40. Oh my gosh on the laundry soap. That is very expensive. I think I would be wearing my clothes a few times before washing…lol.

  41. Nylabluesmum says:

Yow Easy iz ber interestin da brandz ya haz in yer countree….
N da deeoderant stick wif da salt crystalz soundz amazin!! Mum haz to use duuble anti purrspirant or she smellz like da hole Deefence line of a football teem aftur a long hot game…. iz not perfumey AT ALL!!! 😉
    Grrreat post.
Lub Nylablue n da not too stinkie Mum too ❤ ❤ ❤

  42. How cool you get your own bottled water. You must of needed some after eating that sticky thing, I had one and I didn’t think it worked that great so it was a better chew toy. Have a great night.

  43. rottwlrmom says:

I’ve always been curious about the crystal deo sticks… do they REALLY work??? I melt glass and vulcanize rubber…I get hot and sweaty and…stinky! But the aluminum and other junk in deodorant scares me…

  44. Nylabluesmum says:

Me iz gonna look fer diz online fer Mum 😉
Me nott want a ‘skunk-Mum’ in bed wif me either!
    Lub ❤ Nylablue ❤

  45. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about fry daddy.
