SUPER SUNDAY
 .
We  have a fest in my village. Every year in august they celebrate a “fête du battage” . There is bad music the whole time (after 87 times of “Daddy Cool” my ears went to sleep modus), a waterfall of booze, a giant BBQ and a pawrade, directly in front of my crib.

This time my mom entered the window sill to be the show-stopper make a video of the crazy people in their crazy rides. Yes, that’s weird to clamber about while we had the Blogville Safety Week, but weird is her nature…
 .

.
I had to watch the pawrade from inside, that means they locked me in the bedroom where I had a bark fest and I ate her jacket (was disgusting too much downer…just saying).

.
But even locked in the bedroom I did my best to greet all the people and if you have the time to watche the video, you can see that they waved at ME! and ignored the window sill climbing monkey…

.
HAVE A SUPER  SUNDAY ALL
.
I’m currently a little busy with entertaining my grandpawrents who came to see their beloved universal heir grandson, butt I commanded my ole momma to keep up with all blogs immediately, or I will share MY bed no longer with her…

  2. Looks like you had a great time Easy. Have a good one with the grand peeps and have a serene easy Sunday now.
    Best wishes Molly

  3. That looked like a great parade, E. Too bad your parents don’t have a tractor. You would’ve looked awesome riding up there. I saw a little dog watching the parade. He looked like me if I got fat. It was like a glance into my future if Mom gives me all the treats I want. I didn’t like the man pulling the horse’s tail. I hope the horse kicked him a shot.

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

  4. What a cool parade Easy! I agree with Cupcake – you should have borrowed a tractor from someone and ridden as KING of the pawrade! I didn’t like that guy pulling the horse tail either but I think he thought it was funny….wonder if he’d like someone pulling HIS tail ?! I bet you’re happy your grandparents are visiting – they always bring you a big bag of toys and treats…..just keep them away from all TENTS!

    Hugs, Sammy

  5. Loos like a fun parade Easy. Hope mum wasn’t too upset about her jacket 🙂

We will have our parade on the 20th – aggravated with continuous, loud and extremely bad music…
Is the thingy the guy from 5:51 is pulling an upright piano? 🙂

  7. fredrieka says:

dadwithoutpaws loves his tractors; he has 3, momwithoutpaws thinks his tractor is sexy.

  8. Easy that parade looks like so much fun! you always have a great time with your grandparents! xoxo

  9. DailyMusings says:

I never saw a parade of tractors before! Glad you had a view from the window! 🙂

  10. Did they have any tractor races – now that would of been fun to see 🙂

  11. Midwestern Plant Girl says:

Easy, I’m surprised you weren’t IN the pawrade! I’m sure you could have worn your bright orange thong mom got you a while back . You would have matched all the men with the bandanas on thier necks! 😄😄
    Have fun with your grandpawents!

  12. fozziemum says:

Oh Easy what a fab trip to your crib..i think last year it was a worry with the roadwork wasn’t it ? and it seems all the young boys pick up the girls on these tractors..do tell me that is how your mum and dad got together 🙂 I would not worry about the tail pulling man..i am sure if he pulls hard enough the backdoor of the horse will open and rain down upon him the remnants of meals gone by 🙂 i hope mums top survived the event…though i fear it may not have hahahaah 🙂 loves Fozziemum xx

  13. Brian says:

Parades can sure be fun and it would have been more fun if you were in it Easy!

  14. Damn it my previous comment didn’t go through. What a great parade and so nice they had it for you and all waved at you. You are the king my friend. Your brother Gambler is heading to the third series of his hunt test, keep your paws crossed for a pass. Have a great day.

EZ Buddy…. we Remember the Pawrade from LAST Year and THIS one was even BETTER… Being country Dawgs we have a GREAT appreciation fur all the Farmers and their BELOVED and WELL TENDED Farm Machinery. THIS was OUTSTANDING. We think it rained a bit Last year… this time it was dry fur the pawrade.
AND they remembered to include the HORSES that Used to do so much of the farm work.
We are THRILLED that you shared this with us. THANK YOU..
PeeS… Make sure that grandpa …. uses the RIGHT shampoo this time.

  18. ScottieMom says:

Easy, how come your pawrents didn’t make you the star of the parade? You would have been a hit! Much love, The Scottie Mom.

It’s the crazy Parisians returning home to an abandoned Paris in August. I thought they usually went further south for Août. At this speed they’ll make it by September 1.

  20. The world needs more of these parades – we often meet them on the road throughout Europe. Make for interesting delays 😉 So, did you eat all the stuffies or is Sunday School off for the holiday?

  21. What a great parade! Perfect birds-eye view too! Hope your Mom has another jacket to wear 🙂 Have a wonderful time with the Grandpawrents!

  22. pawedblog says:

A waterfall of booze sounds great!!… Err, anyway the rest of the parade looks great too, Easy! I saw the folks nodding and waving to you, I also saw a man using a horses tail instead of some reins… why don’t more people do this? then they can spend more money on booze waterfalls… I mean, parades!
Have a super, duper time with the grandfolks!
    Hugs, Carrie and Pups x

  23. Emmadog says:

How rude to have locked you up in the house. I would have protested as well!

  24. The OP Pack says:

That is a very unique parade, Easy. Lightning would be in hiding with all that brouhaha – Ciara would be smiling pretty for the crowds. And Phantom – well, he might not even know there was a parade. Happy Sunny Sunday.

Woos – Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning

  25. I am glad your Mom did a videeeohhhh of that parade because I love old tractors and the orange ones were cool. Loved the Fords and Farmalls! And then the draft horses bringing up the rear was a great finish! Enjoy your Grandparent’s vist.. I bet you are eating good FOOD because good FOOD always comes when family visits.. 😀

  26. bichonpawz says:

  29. rottwlrmom says:

    That Pawrade sounds wonderful!!!

  30. Molly: “I’m so envious you get to watch the parade go by. There are parades here, but we’d have to car ride to see them…and they won’t take dogs along any more after the German was just to overwhelmed and tried to run home instead of watching. Me? I’d just run over and jump on a float and paw wave along!”

  31. Wow some cool old farm stuff. Not sure I would like to sit right behind the big horse like the one guy. 🙂

  32. It's Dog or Nothing says:

What a pawsome parade! Looks like a fun time, Easy 🙂
