Last night  the BASTILLE DAY started here. Instead to sit in my closet, I decided to join my mom and the cam in the back yard.
 My beautiful picture
The party started with a big BANG! and BAM! butt that wasn’t the firework, it was just my mom who flew over her crappy garden trashures. She is not able to see in the dark, bipeds are more blindworms than night owls…
After we found the cam back, we saw that she trampled down the antique chinese army from kitsch-dynasty.  Bye euros 1.95, what a waste! Butt at  least even one victory for france…

Then the firework started while I ran through my back yard with wild barking. I was much louder than the firework and the music they played.

Ok that reminds me of pictures we saw in biology lessons once… butt it was really just  a firework
It was as dark as in the ass of a salamander and while my mom tried to make a video she had an accident.
One of the firework rockets hit her nut exactly there where the bird has his nest… hahaha naaah it wasn’t that dramatic… she just ran against a big branch of our ole walnut tree and she looks like the last unicorn today with the red bump on her pear…
therefore we have an interruption in the video, sorry :o)

After all we had a moderate night, the chinese army is beaten and rests in pieces, the bump on mom’s nut looks funny and Germany won the sucker soccer cup, what means that whole kerfuffle is over , HOWLELUJAH!

  1. So, you aren’t frightened of fireworks Easy? Sounds like you’re more likely to get hurt by Mom careening around the garden 😀

  2. Oh, and by the way, joyeux 14 juillet!

  3. Your Mom needs night vision goggles Easy – she’s a disaster waiting to happen! HAHAHA Beautiful fireworks – I’m glad you were celebrating with a bark-fest while the fireworks popped in the sky! Happy Monday…….

    Hugs, Sammy

      • seems that gadgets try to take the global domination….we should stop it with some sledge hammers and wearing tin foil caps before it is to late :o)

      • fozziemum says:

I so agree..so far within a month we have said goodbye to a toaster (the new one has Pickles terrified as the toast comes up by itself) the kettle..as it would turn itself on ..deciding clearly when I was wanting a coffee…and a blender…I am buying tin foil tomorrow and plastic shoes (which luckily nearly all are plastic now) bwahaaa 🙂

  7. Midwestern Plant Girl says:

I wish you could teach my boys that loud noises are fun to bark at! And not to be scared. Glad you had fun today, Easy!

  8. DailyMusings says:

Thank you for sharing the fireworks Easy! It reminded me that in 1983 I was in Paris on Bastille Day and watched them from my Aunt’s balcony (overlooking the Champs Elysees-quite the view!) I am sorry mom had a hard time of it in the dark- night vision goggles next time for sure. Your background track added to the beauty of the fireworks and I just love you in a beret.Happy Bastille Day!

  9. cecilia07 says:

Happy Birthday France!!! Easy give the mom a high 5 for great fireworks photos.
Congrats to Germany they played HARD and long for the win.
    Hugs madi your bfff

  10. Happy France Day! And Easy, we loved your singing to the fireworks display.

  11. Goose says:

Happy birthday to France. Hey brother I was barking right along with you. It was so much fun that I had my MOM play to video again. I think we could sing together on the road and we could have fireworks at our show. Hope your mom’s noodle is ok by now and she does not need a brain doctor.

    • Brother I’m sure we would become rich&famous in zilch…maybe we should sell earmuffs to our fans, so we had a nice extra income :o) hahaha think that brain dogtor has a hard job hahahah

  12. Happy Birthday France – any excuse for a celebration is a good excuse we say 🙂

  13. PigLove says:

Happy Birthday France!! We had fireworks here a couple of weeks ago. I think *I* made louder noises popping off fireworks then some of them outside if you get my drift – snorts rolling around laughing. XOXO – Bacon

  14. Happy Birthday France! That soccer stuff may be over, Easy but there is still the Tour de France…which daddy-dog watches endlessly especially when he is on his trainer bike in the garage. The fool must think he is actually riding in Le Tour. BOL Does Le Tour pass by your crib? And oh, great video. Ma had to stop it before the end because I was responding to your barking with lots of barking and running through the house looking for you. BOL Happy Monday, pal.

    • I have the same here, first my dad watched this soccer thingy, not he watches that tour. We had it once directly in front of my crib, but I wasn’t born that time. Mom said she had a place on the “tribune” of our bedroom. Butt the whole event was over within some seconds :o)

  15. Brian says:

Happy Birthday to France! Oh, those are great fireworks Easy, far away from us!

  16. Easy, you know, that beret and moustache kinda suits you…
    Toodle pip!

  17. The biology class comment about made me wet my fur! Coincidentally, I do believe there are fireworks involved in that lesson as well…

14 juillet and July 4. It’s a shame we couldn’t keep the 18th century ideals like liberté and liberty.

  20. Sarge says:

    Hey Easy!
Wow, a big HAPPY BARKDAY to FRANCE! Sounds like a super celebration. Sorry about your Mom’s trip and fall episode. Too bad those fireworks didn’t give her more and better lighting.

  25. OwyheeStar says:

Easy, I think your Mom and I have too much in common–mainly the ground. I have spent entirely too much time on it of late. My left knee (formerly my good knee) has joined the land of the knobby hill……..and is starting to look a bit more like the right one. Well …………enjoy the fireworks, and holiday events.

  26. Will and Eko says:

Glad you survived the invasion! Hopefully you were well compensated with treats for your heroism.

  27. HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRANCE!! HAPPY HAPPY BASTILLE DAY!! France is BLESSED to have you and I hope they know it! Barks and licks and love, Dakota and Caren

  28. Frankie and Ernie says:

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRFDAY TO FRANCE !!!!!! WE loved the fireworks and your running BARKonTary… that made it SO much more SPECIAL… and the sky WAS as Dark as a Salamander’s Ass which made the fireworks show up BEAUTIFULLY in the Video.

  29. What a great celebration! It ain’t a party till somebody knocks their noggin on the walnut tree! Happy birthday France! Let them eat cake!

    Love and licks,

  30. I would storm the Bastille for a real baguette. No matter how hard they try, it’s never the same in NY. Happy 14th!

  31. Emmadog says:

Yay for Germany! I am a French Scent Hound, but don’t celebrate French holidays…I figure you can do it for me 😉

  32. Happy Birfday to your country Easy! Did we detect a bit of French accent in that barking? Your poor mum, had to suffer for the celebration. We hope she is fine today!

    Your Pals,

    Murphy & Stanley

  33. pawedblog says:

  37. So, Happy Birthday to France Easy! Hope your Mom is doing ok. I once ice skated into a little tree in a farm pond and knocked myself silly! Maybe you can concentrate on unstuffing those stuffies now!

  38. harrispen says:

Happy Bastille Day Easy! You were brave to be out during the fireworks.

    Millie & Walter

  39. spittythekitty says:

Happy Bastille Day, Easy and family! We hope your Mom’s noggin is better, Buddy! We are real glad the whole World Cup dealio is over now, though we *were* kind of hoping Argentina would pull it off. Sigh. Well, back to baseball!

  40. Easy that video was awesome, I love fireworks and didn’t get to see any this year. I LOL every time you talk about how dark it is. As for the birds in the hunt test, if their are decoys out in the water someone in a boat goes and picks them up, if a duck is left out there they get what you call a pick up dog and send a dog out there to get the duck. Have a great night.

    • It was really such a darkness lol :o) My mom would like to “decorate” the area for a hunting test (no, never hire her or it will look like Barbie’s pond and all dogs get a laughing fit)

  41. Dalton says:

Wow you were giving those fireworks a right old talking to, I hope mum’s head isn’t too sore today?!

  42. fozziemum says:

Yay! finally the video gremlin has gone and I could hear and see the joy of your fireworks!! and yes the pups here did join the chorus! hugs and loves Fozziemum xxx

  43. kolytyi says:

I think you should be hired for the firework in Paris next year – your baritone is simply unsurpassable! But please don’t let your mom in the vicinity of the pyrotechnics! I hope your poor walnut tree got something on its aching branch! A collision with your mom’s brainbox might have been really painful and shocking.

  44. Coccolino says:

Happy Bastille Day! What a party Easy. And what a great lecturing of those horrible fireworks! With your singing and my squealing maybe we could start a chorus 🙂

  45. Your barking woke Thunder up…lol. Those are very close fireworks. I don’t think those would go over too well with some of the brown dawgs. 🙂 Happy Bastille Day.

  46. Lee says:

Sunday when I was watching the Tour de France 2014 on the television I was wondering if they were close to you. Why Easy I expected to see you chasing a bicycle or two. Happy Bastille Day Easy!
    Thanks for being a friend
    Sweet William
    The Scot

  47. awwww man, Easy…you Mum makes my Mom L fall off her chair laughing her butt off!! Just exactly something my Mom L would do!! Great video just the same. So sorry to be gone from your blog comments my pal

  48. Happy Birthday to your homeland Easy! Those fireworks look cool and kind of spiral-y in the photos.
