BOW TIE THURSDAY
If got mail yesterday. It came from my brother Goose ( buddy we should check out our ancestors once, think we are really related). What a timing! He is back at home together with his mom and I’ve got his mail, so I can post it and he can read my post.
I’ve got one of this fabulous bow ties of the Kula Project , what you can find on the site of See Beautiful™.

And it’s perfect for today, because it’s Ascension Day here, what’s a howliday. It’s a brandnew howliday what exists only since the 5th century so we forgot to buy our bread yesterday. That means we have to eat cake today, that’s not bad too, except it’s cheesecake :o)
I immediately called the cam girl for a photo-session to present my brand new gentledog bow tie:

Bow ties are great they pretend harmlessness provide style&class and they make you to a perfect gentledog. And if my dad thinks I will borrow him my bow tie he barks up the wrong tree. That’s MY bow tie!

Easy that tie looks grand on you! It’s perfect with your collar and your silver mistygrey self…..what a nice gift from Goose and we were happy to read on his blog that he’s home and feeling better for now. Better keep an eye on that tie though if your Dad is acting “interested” – tell him it would NOT look good with his smoking that you borrowed for my blogaversary pawty.

I think he can wear whatever he want, he never will look as good as me. He is a human… And the smoking is anyway history, think that was one of that self-shrinking thingies and we had to call 112 to get my dad out of that thingy with the hydraulic cutter. He said that’s because we can wear smokings only rarely…as if, who said that it isn’t possible to walk your dog wearing a smoking and patent shoes? (specially a gentledog with a bow tie)

Emma, that’s a great idea to go out tonight… we have anyway no bread… hope the staff is allowed in fancy restaurants ( or they have to wait in the car).
One more thing…maybe you could add suspenders? Mom says a man with a snazzy bow tie and coordinating suspenders is sharp looking. Don’t know what you would hook them too, though.

Oh my goodness brother!! I knew you would rock the bow tie. All the girly doggies are swooning cuz you are so so handsome. It might be a good thing that I live on this side of the pond and you live on the other side. If we were to walk down the street together wearing our bow ties, well lets just say not a lady would be standing on their paws. AND it is the perfect thing to wear while eating cake (but not cheesecake). Maybe if your dad wore it then your mom would not think about his rival, Rod Stewart. We has a weird kind of related in our family. My Daddy (who is NOT the father of any of my human brothers) is related to my oldest human brother. One of my Daddy’s Grandmothers was sister to the father of my oldest human brother. Wes did not find that out until a few years ago.
Purrhaps yous and Goose has the same Great-Great-Great Grand Father on your Mother’s side……

Dear Easy, you are becoming a real style icon. We hope to see a different bow tie for every day of the week. What a lovely present from Goose – great to hear he is home and we hope recovering well.
I will ask the staff for more bow ties, you’re right, a gentledog needs more than one bow tie :o) Goose has to see his Dr. Eddie the next time, hope he will find a way to solve a problems.
Anyone who wears a tie here is laughed at. Yesterday it got to 105F 39C. Next month it can get to 117F 47C. It’s not as bad as it sounds, the humidity is only 5% but nobody wears a tie of any kind.
we have around 16°C…and rain. it’s very uncomfy and I better should wear fur-bow-tie :o) Can you imagine that we never had 47°C and neither mom or me can imagine such a heat …. can you send some of that heat, so we can test if we are ready for a life in the US?

It is, we had so much bad times this year, so now we hope only for good things what will happen to all of us.
The natural burlap fabric is good for casual days and I like the idea of weimer bowtie du jour or week, month and holidays.
