Yesterday I read at Stuarts blog that he discovered an ole toy for new and he had endless fun.

That was the go-ahead for me to examine my toy box. Mom offered me some antique things what mouldered since years on the bottom of my toy box and I was happy to discover them new.
Look, I found my old Quarterback back, bought as I planned to have my own football team like Mr. Jerry Jones, what unfortunately failed, for lack of assets.
…and here, the paw of Goddzilla uncared for years, because I ordered the whole Monster and not only the paw.
Stuart was right, it’s like getting brandnew toys with some signs of usage.
Now isn’t that beautiful how much fun and joy you can have without effort or costs? And how much memories are storaged in an ole toy – YES, that’s beautiful!
Butt only because we are dogs. Or cats. Or guinea pigs. Or mini pigs. And because WE are beautiful and even satisfied with things we find on the bottom of our toy box. Or in the roadside ditch.
Now imagine you would offer your mom an ole skimpy dress what mouldered on the bottom of her closet for centuries…. she could discover it new and hey, fashion comes in fashion again – that’s law, Coco, Yves and Calvin would approve that.
And your mom will look beautiful in this old thingy, because she is your mom and always beautiful – and in worst case she has you on your side and YOU’re anyway beautiful! Good luck with that…

Speaking of mom, I will tell you a true story, not beautiful, more painful… butt please promise me first, not to laugh, ok? I know it’s hard, but we should try it. And if you laugh, no problem, even mom’s pawrents laughed although she is their only child… Ok, here we go:

yesterday my mom saddled the Elephant Skater and rode to the city, to buy the prizes and for visiting the beloved junkstore. En passant she had to buy some stomach filling, because all pots in my crib were empty. She rode through storm and rain and wind to the store were she couldn’t find a parking lot, because we are not the only ones in my area who needed stuff. She only found a place for the Elephant Skater on the street, where you have to be careful that they don’t take away your butt while passing your car.

She went in the store, bought her stuff and tried to open the butt flap of the Elephant Skater. The Adam Opel AG, aka. General Motors planned in a moment of deepest apperation or booziness to install the worst flap clasp ever and as my mom pushed the clasp on the butt of the Skater with her gripping device while standing on the side of the Skater in constant fear to lose her ass, her finger slipped off, got caught on the clasp…. and the top phalanx of her forefinger was broken. Crack! Oh and it is the forefinger of her right hand – Jackpot!
She cursed, wished Adam O. the plague and drove back to my crib – what a Valkyrie ride! She had no clue, for how much things humans need the forefinger of their gripping device. I think that was the first time she wished to have a slushbox. Me and dad tried NOT to laugh as she came back with the blue-black-swollen sausage, because she had the food in the Skater and we were hungry.
After visiting the MASH, I’ve got a big chewing bone, dad a bill and mom a splint.
It’s called FROG BANDAGE , of course we are in france. I feel sorry for my mom, because now she isn’t even able to dig in her nose for gold , so we will be still poor .
Butt the frog thingy rocks, she looks a little like a cyborg now…
This adventure inspired me to re-write a poem of Goethe…
THE ERLKING
Who rides, so late, through night and wind?
It is my momma with her splint.
Her finger is broken, not her arm
From the darned butt flap, she got a harm.
Watch out GM, she is in a state
and will kill sue you, so run before it’s to late…
General Motors broke her finger but not her Dignity!

Oh Easy your poor Mom……attacked by a man-eating (oops…woman-eating) car butt flap!!! I think a lawsuit is in order – for BIG BUCKS…..hire one of those lawyers we call over here an “ambulance chaser” and make sure you mention all the problems her paw injury has caused in your crib – no doubt your Mom and Dad will be bazillionaires courtesy of GM. Go for it. It would be an even MORE beautiful Friday if you could sue!

Sadly we heard that’s difficult, because mom is no citizen of the U.S. and my grampy is the owner of the haunted car. Either we broke dads finger now or we sue my grampy… wow, boy, that would be the stuff John Grisham would like for his novels… or Stephen King for a remake of “Christine”
Oh dear….well here I thought I’d found a way to make you rich….darn! You certainly don’t want to sue your Grampy – he gives you fun toys to rip apart when they visit your crib. I guess your Mom will just have to be more careful in future and we all know how THAT will turn out! 😉
…butt wait… maybe I can sell the story to Mr. Grisham or Mr. King… then I have a new chance to get rich… and I can buy a new ride for my mom… without a butt flap :o)
I’m afraid your mom hasn’t read the papers of the Elephant Skater. It contains a disclaimer that no responsibility is taken over for injuries of customers lacking self-assurance. This car is for men and women who think that they are most beautiful even with a half butt.
And how will your poor mom cook for you with her ouchy paw? Will you have frog soup and frog steak for dinner?
hahaha I think the whole ride is half arse-assembled :o) By now she does it with her left paws… and that counts for the taste too :o)

I am going right now to find all the new old toys I have. What a beautiful idea. The old will be made new, 2 Corinthians 5:17 . Hey what can I say I am a pastor’s dog. MOM always says everything can be found in the Bible. I said, “where is it in the Bible about creating the beautiful Goose and Easy dogs.” She said it was on the 8th day cuz God had to have a day of rest before creating something so so beautiful.as us.
My MOM hurt her butt the other day. Where do I get some of those frog medical aides? Hope your mom’s finger gets better. You better help it along and lick it lots.

So, your mom broke her carpals?! I hear that can be painful however I would not let on if I were you. If you want her to keep up her chores of cooking fabulous meals you must act like there is nothing wrong with her at all. She will then believe it to be so and she will continue on. I did think you were going to say that she lost her butt…probably better that she didn’t.

The Molly: “Ooouuuchie ouchie! When I was younger and wilder ( not it was not last week) I crazy wrapped my mom with my leash when I desperately wanted to play with some dogs…her fingers were twisted in the leash and one went snap. It looked like a sausage for awhile and she used it as an excuse to make me walk slow…and I don’t know why… she doesn’t walk on her hands.

That makes sense to me, they always walk on their feet, just two feet, because the other pair is stunted and they can use it only as gripping device :o)

Oh no! Ouch.. that really sucks your mom broke her finger doing that! And sometimes I hide my baby’s toys and then after a few weeks, I’ll switch the toys she has out with her hidden ones. It’s like brand new toys all over again! If I kept them all out at once, my house would probably be a disaster…
hahaha, like my bedroom :o) I think it’s not bad that some of them land in the trashcan from time to time :o) Mom is very pi..ed that she has to wear this frog thingy for some weeks now, but today the pain goes more moderate :o)

We were thrilled to find all our very old and mouldered toys in our toy bin when we got home after our multiple trips to the kennel – funny how much fun we had with them after not touching them for months on end.
