SOS SUNDAY
 .
Wow, dear friends, look, what happened here:
 .

.
Some one forgot to turn off the faucet…
.

.
Tons of water came down on my crib. And this after I read about emergency plans at Fozzie.m’s blog!
We have NO emergency plan, I only know one thing:
WEIMARANERS FIRST!
… ok, and since Speedy told me yesterday, that Hell-mut isn’t a turtle (sorry, my mom is a numb nut) he is a TORTOISE and no fish or seafood, then
TURTLES, TORTOISES AND TURTELOISES FIRST TOO
(butt after the Weimaraner). Thanks, Speedy for the hint :o)
.

.
While my dad  searched for the air pump to inflate the dinghy, I grabbed some supplies and because they all fiddled around till the whole eternity….
.
IMG_2396
.
HEY! THAT’S AN EMERGENCY CASE, STAFF!!!
… and time to open that MRE…
.
IMG_2395
.
Those zanies thought I can’t open that bucket, butt PAH! da Weimaraner can! In zilch! POPPPP! said the flap of that bucket and an avalanche of pop corn came over my bed.
Da mom dumped the cam, removed the Weimaraner (RATS!) and hoovered around that corny ocean while the Weimaraner performed the emergency siren behind the door.
 .

.
Suddenly the riptide stopped (aaaah, someone found the faucet!) and we were safe. For this time. I’m not sure for the next emergency case…. we need an emergency plan, I think. One what works. URGENT! And more pop corn!
 .
IMG_2393
yes, they are still working on that street (sometimes)- no joke!
.
What’s your plan for the worst case? Do you have one? No? Maybe you will find some ideas at FOZZIEM or you can give us  some hints there?
I for my share  seek asylum at Molly’s Blog, I’m the “Share-It”-Sunday-guy…
HAVE A SAFE SUNDAY ALL

  3. Goose says:

Emergency plan??????? ummm I guess I don’t. Pray I suppose that’s my emergency plan. Butt now I know I must also include popped corn. Stay dry and safe Easy.
    Blessings,
    Goose

  4. Your faucet must have channeled ours because it rained “comme vache qui pisse” like they say in France most of the afternoon and all night!
But we don’t even have popcorn here. My human has matcha tea chocolate pseudo langues de chat though. :-/

  5. cecilia07 says:

Easy that is a ton of rain. You might want to consider starting an ark for your crib!
    Hugs
    Madi your bfff

  6. You need to have an emergency BOOK Easy with all the disasters at your pad..BOL That Hollywood popcorn looks rather tasty 🙂 xxooxxx

  7. Popcorn is a good emergency food. Plus bacon, sweet potatoes, and banana slices. And don’t forget to bring some toys!

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

  8. Glad you kept dry in the end Easy – if Helmut had been a turtle, he’d have been just fine 😉

  9. Frankie and Ernie says:

OMD EASY… you are lucky you didn’t DROWN. There must have been 87,000 gallons/liters of water there. Good that you had that STASH of Emergency POP CORN… NICE job of getting it Freed from its Container, By the Way.

  10. You need to have a brain for an emergency plan Easy and that is sadly lacking in out crib. Stay dry pal and have a serene Sunday if you acn.
    Best wishes Molly

  11. Kyla says:

The first thing is to educate your mom. Letting the Hoover eat the spilled popcorn instead of the weimaraner is not smart and very wasteful. Waste not, want not. Your mom would throw away your stock of water in a drought.

  12. Hi Easy…..Mom’s back from her abandonment of me and my Dad so here I am catching up…looks like you had more rain than necessary at your crib! Hell-mut needs a rain hellmut and you need an ARK! So your Mom didn’t appreciate your opening that pop corn huh? Well next time be quiet about it when you’re opening it up (like inside her shoe closet for instance)…….we don’t have an emergency plan really – we live on top of a big old hill and all the water and flooding are “down there” and we’re “up here” so we’re literally high and dry. Hope things are less soggy soon!

  15. I so hope you were quick to safe the popcorn… it is very important to have some food stashed in case of a emergency

  18. Sage says:

That faucet is still on at my crib, Easy, so I took stock of our emergency rations. All I found were pickles and tomatoes. I’d take your popcorn ANY DAY over that.

  19. catfromhell says:

  22. stanze says:

Strange, we’re not that far away and had only some drops of water. It must have all been coming down on your home so there was next to nothing left. I got to admit I’m glad. You can have the rain next time as well. ^^

Oh my! That’s a lot of rain my friend. Over the summer months, we had a bucket load as well. The only thing a pig was to do, snuggle down comfortably in bed with the remote control. Mom brought in popcorn and we watched movies for hours. It’s what I do. XOXo – Bacon

  35. kolytyi says:

First, Hell-mouth should get as much weeds as he is capable of arriving his fully developed size within some weeks. Second, he should retrain as a (water dwelling) turtle.
