SOS SUNDAY
.
Wow, dear friends, look, what happened here:
.
.
Some one forgot to turn off the faucet…
.
.
We have NO emergency plan, I only know one thing:
WEIMARANERS FIRST!
… ok, and since Speedy told me yesterday, that Hell-mut isn’t a turtle (sorry, my mom is a numb nut) he is a TORTOISE and no fish or seafood, then
TURTLES, TORTOISES AND TURTELOISES FIRST TOO
(butt after the Weimaraner). Thanks, Speedy for the hint :o)
.
.
While my dad searched for the air pump to inflate the dinghy, I grabbed some supplies and because they all fiddled around till the whole eternity….
.
.
HEY! THAT’S AN EMERGENCY CASE, STAFF!!!
… and time to open that MRE…
.
.
Those zanies thought I can’t open that bucket, butt PAH! da Weimaraner can! In zilch! POPPPP! said the flap of that bucket and an avalanche of pop corn came over my bed.
Da mom dumped the cam, removed the Weimaraner (RATS!) and hoovered around that corny ocean while the Weimaraner performed the emergency siren behind the door.
.
.
Suddenly the riptide stopped (aaaah, someone found the faucet!) and we were safe. For this time. I’m not sure for the next emergency case…. we need an emergency plan, I think. One what works. URGENT! And more pop corn!
.
yes, they are still working on that street (sometimes)- no joke!
.
What’s your plan for the worst case? Do you have one? No? Maybe you will find some ideas at FOZZIEM or you can give us some hints there?
HAVE A SAFE SUNDAY ALL
Oh No Easy….dogtastrophe!!! what a faucet leak…and no plan…I hope I didn’t kinx the staff with my bloggie and now I really must quickly get the plans in place for a bloggie update…badluck that the popcorn was saved..from you…stay safe Easy and grab the oars!!!! Hugs Fozziemum xx
WOW Easy, that was close but I sure am glad you are okay! Yes, we do have emergency plans for most situations!
Emergency plan??????? ummm I guess I don’t. Pray I suppose that’s my emergency plan. Butt now I know I must also include popped corn. Stay dry and safe Easy.
Blessings,
Goose
Your faucet must have channeled ours because it rained “comme vache qui pisse” like they say in France most of the afternoon and all night!
But we don’t even have popcorn here. My human has matcha tea chocolate pseudo langues de chat though.
Purrs
Easy that is a ton of rain. You might want to consider starting an ark for your crib!
Hugs
Madi your bfff
You need to have an emergency BOOK Easy with all the disasters at your pad..BOL That Hollywood popcorn looks rather tasty 🙂 xxooxxx
Mollie and Alfie
Popcorn is a good emergency food. Plus bacon, sweet potatoes, and banana slices. And don’t forget to bring some toys!
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Glad you kept dry in the end Easy – if Helmut had been a turtle, he’d have been just fine 😉
OMD EASY… you are lucky you didn’t DROWN. There must have been 87,000 gallons/liters of water there. Good that you had that STASH of Emergency POP CORN… NICE job of getting it Freed from its Container, By the Way.
You need to have a brain for an emergency plan Easy and that is sadly lacking in out crib. Stay dry pal and have a serene Sunday if you acn.
Best wishes Molly
That’s true Molly… so I think Weimaraner first is the best what we can do LOL
The first thing is to educate your mom. Letting the Hoover eat the spilled popcorn instead of the weimaraner is not smart and very wasteful. Waste not, want not. Your mom would throw away your stock of water in a drought.
I can eat the pop corn of the Hoover dust bag, she can’t, so she is the one who has to go hungry to bed :o)
Hi Easy…..Mom’s back from her abandonment of me and my Dad so here I am catching up…looks like you had more rain than necessary at your crib! Hell-mut needs a rain hellmut and you need an ARK! So your Mom didn’t appreciate your opening that pop corn huh? Well next time be quiet about it when you’re opening it up (like inside her shoe closet for instance)…….we don’t have an emergency plan really – we live on top of a big old hill and all the water and flooding are “down there” and we’re “up here” so we’re literally high and dry. Hope things are less soggy soon!
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
Sammy you know their DIY-projects, would you use an Ark what my staff made? hahahahaha bet they wcould call it Titanic II
Oh nos!
Why always the one who dislikes water has tons of rain ? :o)
Easy I am hoping someone turns your faucet off soon!
We read Fozzie’s post and loved it!
Umm…turtles and tortoises are in the same species 🙂 And we told you no fish either! 🙂
Me too Dakota, the whole street was an ocean and all the gravels are gone now and the street guys have to start the endless project again :o(
I so hope you were quick to safe the popcorn… it is very important to have some food stashed in case of a emergency
I think so – but now we have to eat it from the dust bag of the hoover…oh this mom!
You’re welcome Easy.OMG! thats a lot of rain we had lots yesterday afternoon too, yummy popcorn!xx Speedy
I don’t like that rain, but the idea with the pop corn was not bad :o)
Very beautiful photos. Have a lovely Sunday.
Thanks – hope you have a good one … and a dry one :o)
That faucet is still on at my crib, Easy, so I took stock of our emergency rations. All I found were pickles and tomatoes. I’d take your popcorn ANY DAY over that.
We could make popcorn-pizza with your pickles and the tomatoes :o)
What!! After opening the pops corn yous did not gets the chance to suck it all up?!? Me is sure yous would not has missed a kernel!
Wes is starting to build a ark here, wes had rain, rain and more rain!
Kisses
Nellie
That’s scandalous and a waste of emergency food, what she did. I hope my staff will not build an ark – we all know their DIY projects :o)
Sending you an inflatable boat for next time!!
janet
Thanks – that would be great – much better than the ark the staff plan to build LOL
Wow that’s a lot of rain. It’s been raining here too on and off, but I don’t think we’ve gotten that much this weekend. I don’t have a great plan… but I’m willing to jump out the window if I need to!
That could be agreat idea – it’s currently like jumping in a swimming pool here :o)
Strange, we’re not that far away and had only some drops of water. It must have all been coming down on your home so there was next to nothing left. I got to admit I’m glad. You can have the rain next time as well. ^^
I bet someone placed a sign “water here” on my roof top. It came suddenly and in the same way it disappears….a mystery… or an early Halloween prank?
If whee have an emergency, and last year whee did have one, the hoomans always come and get us and take us away from any dangers. Whee would hope noms would be provided in emergencies but you never knows
Nacho, Noah, Buddy & Basil
xxxx
aaah I remember you had a fire with a car, right? That was dangerous. Make sure you have enough pop corn or piggy corn at home :o)
Should we send you a boat?
Oh yes please :o) and an umbrella :o)
Lol easy I would love to send you a boat but, I’ve just came back from the ER and, I am on bed rest for the next three to four weeks. I hope to see more stories from you soon. 🙂
Please feel better soon. I know it takes some times, but I’m sure you are strong enough. Please be :o)
Thank you Easy.
Lots of rain means lots of mud! What more can a dog want?
Sadly we only have cement and gravels on our street, but I will check the meadow, maybe there the greatest doggy spa is ready :o)
That looks like a lot of water, Easy!
I’ve just been reading your mystery on Molly the Wally’s – great stuff, I’m still laughing!
Thanks Clowie – I was totally impressed that Mr. Doyle really had a dog named sherlock :o)
Stock up on more than popcorn I say and settle down to eat it all:)
I hope we will get some more buckets of this great stuff (and this time I will not open the bucket in public) Come over for a pop corn pawty!
Would love to!
Wow sweet Easy! Sure glad you and your staff stayed afloat during that huge water burst. Sorry you did not get to enjoy the popcorn it sure looked good. Hugs and nose kisses
Some days are like haunted, Chancy. First you get tons of rains and later your will get NO popcorn. Scandalous!
Phew, close call! Glad you are okay. Get some more of that popcorn, looked very yummy. What a wash… 🙂
The only highlight was the pop corn – and I got nothing, can you believe this?
Oh my! That’s a lot of rain my friend. Over the summer months, we had a bucket load as well. The only thing a pig was to do, snuggle down comfortably in bed with the remote control. Mom brought in popcorn and we watched movies for hours. It’s what I do. XOXo – Bacon
I come over, you get the pop corn I only got the bucket :o)
Well I will definitely share my friend. XOXO – Bacon
So glad you guys made it through that awful storm!!! Every house needs a plan!!!!! OH YES!!!!!
Absolutely. We should serch for our thinking caps and we should buy some things what we could eat and drink – just in case…
WTF?? After all the hard works you did openin’ the poppy corn, you didn’t gets to eat it all??!! Oh, the nerves! Wells, when your peeps head out on the dinghy to gets supplies, they need to gets you some more poppy corn ~ and some Cheetos. They do have Cheetos there, right?! Poppy corn and Cheetos….all a doggie needs to survive the next floods…oh, and beers. YOu can’t ride out the next disaster without beers….
Hopes things are dry now…
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Wow–look at that! We are supposed to have some rain in the next day or so also, but I sure don’t see any. And how come you didn’t get no popcorns, Easy? Not fair! Humans are mean.
First, Hell-mouth should get as much weeds as he is capable of arriving his fully developed size within some weeks. Second, he should retrain as a (water dwelling) turtle.
