SOME SATURDAY

There is something in my crib what makes me nervous. It’s on a chest in the office.

I heard rasping noises and it rustles. As I searched for the root of this evil, I saw a wrinkled head behind the bars of a cage. Hell-mut. The invader. He settled in I think.

He made tunnels with the litter in his cage and now he is something like an armored subway on 4 legs or a litter snowplow.
.
.
And yes, now I take notice of him! I check him every day if he is fat enough to be my turtle-soup on tasty tuesday. I just have to work out ONE POINT:
If the staff eats no meat, just fish and seafood, counts Hell-mut than as meat or as fish?

What would you think? In case he is fish I have to share him with the staff – in case he is meat: lucky Easy :o)

Mom said we will have no turtle soup, we live in french and there we eat no weird things…AHEMMMMMM…

I’m not sure about this, but she becalmed me with some dog drops and a chewing thingy, so I let this pass without a comment.

I’m waiting now for mom and my book, because saturday afternoons are for reading. We still use the kindle, because she failed as she tried to put books on my (yes, it’s mine now!) dumb pad.

We have to wait till the husband of her BFF comes back from holiday and gives her some lessons for dummies. I bet after an hour with my dummy mom he is in desperate need of a holiday again. Or sick. Or mad. Or all. Anyway, I’m outty!

Mom says he is not eatable and it is dad’s pet, maybe I could use both for preparing turtle-frog-leg-soup :o)
Turtles are for sure a seafood of some type. I know this cuz MOM’s nieces children have two of these and they seem to be in the water all the time. Sort of like being in their own soup pot. Or Or I just thought of this… they carry their own soup pot on their back. Just turn them over add some salt and veggies and simmer for 40 minutes. Have a beautiful weekend brother with a very handsome butt and tail.

In America (don’t know about anywhere else) they used to call black bean soup Mock Turtle Soup. It is yummy, and maybe you could make that and pretend it is the real thing. I have never eaten Turtle and I am not planning to either.
That’s an idea, hope they have black beans here :o) In worst case I buy white and burn them black :o)
ewe burned white beans…….black beans are yummy. I didn’t know what they were until I was very old. We never had them when I was growing up.

Hell-mut is a great name. I don’t think your humans will cook him for you. I am surprised that they don’t eat weird things in France. The French do. Dried pig feet for example. Okay, I bet that sounds great to a dog.

Forget Hel-mut. He is hard and crispy. Focus on getting into his foods. Our old turtle, Leave-The-Turtle-Alone always had juicy strawberries, yummy watermelon, and hunks of sweet potato in his cage. Your tongue is the perfect size to get in there and steal food. Sadly my tongue was too little to reach.

Leave-The-Turtle-Alone was a box turtle. He ate fruits and veggies all the time. It made him happy. It made me jealous.
Hel-mut looks like he is a little boring. Mes would watch him from the top of his cage and trys to entice him with my glorious claws!
The turtles around here lives in the water AND on land. just like frogs! Purhaps yous can eats his legs, just like frogs legs…mes hears they tastes like chick-hen….

We will buy him a friend in spring, currently we can’t found one, because they will fall in hibernation soon. I never had this frog legs, the staff said they couldn’t try it, because the looks was really scary :o)

Hell-Mut is a TORTOISE not a Turtle Easy, he don’t eat fish, he likes lettuce and salad..BOL he might like a worm and he needs a box in his pad cos he hibernates for about 6 months 🙂 xxooxx

Hell-Mut looks like he’s got quite a nice bachelor pad Easy – and you can keep an eye on him there. Mom says it’s funny that your Mom said the French don’t eat funny stuff……well Mom’s favorite thing to order at a French restaurant for an appetizer is SNAILS, why not TURTLES??? HAHAHAHAHA Hell-but is your new buddy and no fair thinking about him floating in the soup!!
