GIZMO and FINN invited all peeps&pets of Blogville to GEODOG DAY on 16th of August. The Head Cheerleader is Mayor Madi, so it must be a fabulous event!
Come on and win, come on and win come to the top and search the  thing!
Yesterday Bashful, the staff and me were on tour again to find a Geocache. We picked GC19FVK, in ROHAN. We walked along the channel Nantes-Brest  where you can sail through whole Brittany.
Unfortunately our timing was not the best, because it was Maria Full Of Grace and the parking lot was directly near the church. We came punctually as  ALL people of France went to the church, so we had no chance to find a place for the Elephant Skate. But my dad knew no mercy and parked the Ruesselsheim Rocket amidst on the lawn.
This time the GPS chick was at home, because my mom forgot Miss Smart-Aleck, so Bashful was the Rock Scout.
We traipsed along the channel for a gazillion of kilometers, haunted by cyclists and joggers. Therefore my mom will write a petition against the boneshaker-guys. It’s a signposted bikeway, but who cares – even on a bikeway it could be prohibited to nerve  bipeds, a Weimaraner and a Rolling Stone. Why not? Good luck Mom!
As we came to the lock, we were waiting for a ship, because Bashful never saw how they “smuggle” a whole ship.
Sadly it was no ship in sight, maybe even the River Pirates were in the church or flooded, so we went on and on.
We had some breaks for pondering about the right direction but at last we found the cache.
Sadly it was wet, because the box was flooded and a little dirty, but we can wash our paws .
We added a key chain and a new log sheet, because the old one was swollen up like a Sears catalog. And the worst: My frightfully clever  mom forgot the “R” on my name. I’m glad school starts soon, so she can learn the ABC…
Now it was time for a drink and first Bashful took a bath in my waterbowl, then  I filled up my sprinkler system with cold water.  Bashful was the first in my bowl, so I even had  Mineral Water, hehe…
After some isometric exercises we went back to the Elephant Skate and drove home.
As we came to my crib and left the car, my mom had wet pants
(in this  biblical age people should be housebroken and water proof – shouldn’t they?), she said it’s slobber (HA! as if! LIE!). But that was not the only thing.
She discovered that I used her shirt as TP as I perched on her lap  and now it is a T-SHIT.
But good things always come in threes, so da mom saw that she now wears carrot pants, because the recycled carrots from yesterday stuck on her stilt sheat. Really.  I SHIT you not hahaha.

  3. T Shit Easy you just made us spit out our tea. Boy you crack us up. Don’t mention the boneshakers as that will have my idiot ranting on for 87 gazillion years. We hate them. Have a fabulous Friday.
    Best wishes Molly

    • It was horrible with this guys. They speeded on this way like idiots, no one noticed that there were dogs, kids and older people. Next time my dad should give them a kick that they fly into this channel.

BOL Easy! I am glad this time you didn’t search around for three hours, just a little church traffic to thwart ya, but in the end you got it!!! Thanks for playing along with us!

  5. fozziemum says:

Bwahhaaahahha T-shit…baaaaaaa oh Easy your poor mum needs some adult diapers…surely by now mum must be potty trained bwbahahahaah so glad you and Bashful had a great day I notice dad gets no mention after the shit spotting episode..i hope he hasn’t hopped on a boneshaker and headed out of town from shame at your mums..indiscretions!!

    • He was totally exhausted. It was not easy with all that boneshaker-freaks and me on the leash. It would be bad for him to enter his boneshaker, because a Baddie had stolen the saddle of his bike :o)

      • fozziemum says:

Ouch!! that would render dad somewhat pain riddled then Easy..the boneshakers are a rude lot! we have problems with them on the highways..causing problems and not obeying road rules..i think they should pay a registration like car drivers..they run redlights all sorts of illegal things..hope the Baddie that stole dads seat gets a butt rash!

      • I hope the saddle-snatcher will get hemorrhoids as big as tennis balls. :o) The are really a plague and they are everywhere no matter if you use the boardwalk or the street.

      • fozziemum says:

Exactly …and itchy and hot Easy!! 🙂

    • Maybe my mom can buy such a protection suit – I hope I have not to wear pants (or diapers Yiiikes!) on the next car ride. Or my mom would be the driver. That would be the worst.

Is there a GC designation for the pedigree? There should be….Ent (entertaining), and Ill (illuminating). ………all initials should be on Easy’s pedigree

  30. Wow you guys must be getting really good at this geocache stuff if you don’t need that GPS lady anymore. Looks like you and Bashful had a fun time!

  31. spittythekitty says:

Easy, Sure looks like you and Bashful had a good time—and I think I can see what made the contents of the geocache wet, heh heh. We love reading about these adventures!

  32. kolytyi says:

Your mom is an ungrateful old chick! Terrible! You only tried to mark her clothes so that if she had gone lost, you could have find her EASYly!
Congrats to Bashful for the masterful orienteering! At least he seems to have similar intelligence as a Weim!

  33. Misaki says:

Bashful is never going to want to go home!

  34. Love the little placed you stopped. Since I learned the most exciting part of Geocaching for me is getting there, I think I would have liked that one.

  35. Too funny. Using your mom as toilet paper. 🙂 We love Bashful your pet rock. We need one.
