That’s not difficult,  I can, you can, anipal can.
Equipment: a dowsing rod
That’s a branch of a hazelnut tree, which is furcate.
Start the Trashure-hunt in a night of new moon, then the dowsing rod will twitch in your hand and lead you to the place with a hidden trashure. Please don’t confuse it with the vibration-alarm of your phone – you could land on the wrong place.
Where to find Trashures:
In Mom’s Trashure Store, named NOZ. Everywhere. You can find them on abandoned or  haunted places, specially at places where was a crime. Old castles, ruins and crossroads with a sign of atonement are a perfect place.
Most hidden trashures are marked with a blue light, like this one:
Please make sure that you will not mistake it with this one:
then you need good running shoes and power and the result can be not really satisfying.
I’ve found such a place in my area, it’s the Château de Châteaubriant, a castle from 11th century. During the years it was a defence for the duchy against the Kingdom of France, a court and a police station – so I think the perfect place, for a hidden trashure, because where is more crime than on a court?
There are many legends around this castle, one is about Geoffroy IV of Châteaubriant, who went on crusade and was jailed in Egypt where he alleged was a victim of the plague. His wife Sibylle mourned him painfully. But several month after the announcement of his dead he came back and in case of the shock to see a “ghost” Sibylle died in his arms. Since then the ghost of Sibylle, as a white Lady,  is haunting the castle till today.
Another legend is about Jean de Laval and his wife, Françoise de Foix. Jean the Laval became Gouvernor of Brittany in 1531 and his wife became lady in waiting for the french Queen Claude de France.
The legend says that Françoise had have a relationship with the king and her husband killed her in jealousy on 16th of october 1537. Since then on every 16th of october Françoise and a ghost procession would walk at midnight through the castle.
I will wait now till the 16th of october here with my dowsing rod or I eat it immediately. If you want to come with me, you are invited and we will share the trashure – that’s promised!

  3. Oh easy count me in on the treasure hunt or ghost hunt ! October is SO far away though……if you hear that the haunting is going to happen SOONER rather than LATER let me know – I’ll be there in a flash via hang-glider and I’ll bring my dowsing rod. I’m so excited!

    • Sadly we have to wait till october, because the timetable for ghost says that the lady is only there for one night … I wonder where she is on all other days of the year.

  4. Goose says:

I want to come along Easy on a treasure hunt. Looks like the treasure you have already found in that stick you have there.

    • Great, a trashure hunt with a lot of friends is always the best. Of course, the stick is like a trashure too – hope till october I will have still some branches on the tree :o)

  5. I want to come on a Treasure Hunt too! Easy you forgot one other magical thing…YOU! Barks and licks and love, Dakota

  6. I love trashure. In fact, while getting ready to get our house on the market, I have found (and gotten rid of) much of it. I’m a bit concerned, though, that if you wait right there until Oct. 16, it could be a problem. 🙂

    Enjoy your manic Monday,

Treasure hunt and ghosts at night sound so exciting but SCARY too… I think I need Dakota to come with me.

Spooky stuff, and I with you except I don’t want to eat any sticks. They upset my tummy (and they taste like crap). I am not a fan of crap. I learned a lot of some things I don’t know anything about. Treasure hunting in the Treasure Valley of Oregon would be more like looking for thundereggs, gold, or an old buried piece of trash. Old, is nothing like old is in France. Oregon became a state in 1850, and really didn’t see much action before then. The Treasure Valley was not so lush as it is now, People went right on by here for the lush Willamette Valley on the western side of the state. This area was all dry sage brush until we got the reservoirs in the early 1900s. I think that is pretty accurate.

  9. Hey Easy, I am so right there with you on your treasure hunt…what do I need to do?

  10. LifeOfBun says:

That castle is sooo pretty… but I don’t think i’d go in there, for no trashure in the world D: except for with doctor who.

  11. I want to join you! I want to join you!

  12. Kyla says:

I’m in! Ghosts don’t scare me. Not finding any trashure worries me. The world running out of food is what scares me.

  22. Noreen says:

Hi Easy, Here we have only used dowsing rods/branches for finding water underground but I think using one to find treasures sounds much more fun. You certainly have great adventures. Hunter would probably be scared but I’ll just carry him.

  23. We would love to go on a treasure hunt and if it were with you, it would be perfect. Mom is wondering if that blue light is like the blue light special at KMart:)

Woos – Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

  24. Zena says:
