Yesterday we sent out the items  from Mollie’s auction. I wanted to add something from France. Wow! this Macarons would be not bad – they are yummy and they weigh not much.
But sadly my mom is a greedy Wolverine and after some seconds I had only the empty package.
What’s with the Weirdlock? Mom said no, it’s not nice to send a plague to another country without a reason.
And what’s with a killed Weirdlock? Including a preinstalled hole for the exhaust pipe? No, said mom, that’s not conform with the exhaust gas emisson policies.
So we included a small thingy and I hope the post-guy will saddle up his rubber boat immediately to row all the things over the great pond.
If you have some healing or boosting meows or barks, please send it to mom, she had yesterday a bitch of a day.
First her beloved ride said bye, because the gear box died and now it’s an automatic car she never want because you can drive it only with one gear.
Then she brought my cam to a camera-guy, because all pictures of me are in bad quality – and that’s just scandalous! The snap-guy said, my cam is tired because it has too much releases and now something what he called the shutter is hosed. He said that’s normal after all this years and everything has its time. I agree, but why this time must be just NOW?
She came home – unbeaten but blighted – and started a howling that all nordic dogs of Blogville would like to sing with her. As we thought it couldn’t came worse, we were subject to a fallacy. In the evening she turned her ankle in her worn out ugg-thingies, her ankle said Thanks! and her foot raised like a yeast dough.
Overall Result: TARGET DOWN!

  1. OMD Easy your poor mum. I think it is catching as our computer has died and we have to nip round the corner and use our sisters. We have to go and buy a new one today. Big sigh more expense. Sending healing paw to mum ankle. Have a super Saturday.
    Best wishes Molly

    • Maybe the nearly full moon could be the reason? Compater-ouchies are bad things – specially if the beast says bye with all your datas. I will cross my paws. Have a wonderful weekend.

  2. Oh dearie me….your poor Mum truly did have an AWFUL bad day. Bad stuff comes in threes (so they say…whoever “they” is) so I’m thinking she took care of all three yesterday…..car died, camera died and she twisted her ankle bad! Are you taking good care of her Nurse Easy??? All those packages of auction goodies will be BIG WONGA to send over the pond. We know because we sent some of our packages to YOUR side of the pond yesterday! Let’s hope your Saggy Saturday brings at least SOME fun to your house – right now it sounds like you could use some!

    Kitty Hugs, Sammy

    • I give her some exercise – that’s always the best, so no one will get rusty (good for humans and cars). I wonder about the prices of the post-guy, after all we are neighbors – there is just some water between us. Maybe they carry the post with the Titanic? (but if, it must be first class with this prices LOL)

  3. grouchoandt says:

Oh man, what a day!!!!! Geez, we hope the ankle is better soon!

  4. finnhoward says:

Oh we hope your Momma has a better day today! I hope whoever won your presses enjoys them, with or without the destuffed Weirdlock!

  5. Big UGGS to your Mom Easy, what a crap day she had.. did she really eat all those macaroons..BOL xx00xx

    Mollie and Alfie

  6. Your poor Mom! She did not have an “easy” time of it. When it rains, it pours. It’s pouring here, too, but it’s just rain. Mom doesn’t even have Uggs.

    Love and licks,

  7. fozziemum says:

Poor mum easy!! i too had a bitch of a day yesterday…and i also have a bad ankle..made worserer by the dr squeezing it..i get an ultrasound next week so i think your mum and i are what us humans call falling apart at the seams!! hugs to you all from one brokendown household to another xxxx

    • I hope you weren’t a victim of the uggly uggs too. It seems that we had yesterday friday the 13th.

      • fozziemum says:

Hahaha no easy i was a victim of cleaning my floorboards too well and slipping (my ugg boots were not harmed in anyway) on the step into the kitchen..a fantastic spin and a twist and ta da..do you think we should all get a blogosphere feng shui cleansing hehehe

  8. ScottieMom says:

Hey Easy- Tell your mom we can relate. The very same sort of things happened to us this week as well. First, I fell and went to the ER. Then, my car decided it didn’t want to work anymore and, on the same day, Heather and Mr. K’s very gives us a $500 bill for an annual exam. Craziness! Tell your mom all that mattersisthat you’re by her side every step of the way and she’ll feel better. Much love, The Scottie Mom.

    • Thanks for your words of comfort. Some days are really as black as a black hole. My mom has to made a hard decision now: new car, new camera or new boots – I hope she will choose wise LOL

  9. owyheestar says:

I am sorry, I got stuck at the macaroons……….I love them, but if I didn’t my hips would be thinner. Then I wept over the gearbox. Murphy’s Law has overtaken her………so very sorry

    • I know they will stick on the hips forever – but this day deserved a 10k calories consolation prize. Oh and dad got ONE of them and I’ve got nothing – really a bad day :o)

  10. You can only hope these beasts only come in threes 😦 May the weekend get oodles better 😉

  11. catchatcaren says:

Sending healing licks and GENTLE barking your Mom’s way!

  12. Not such an Easy day!! Give your mom lots of love and licks and hopefully this new week will be much better.

  13. Gizmo says:

Aw Easy your poor Mom…You be nice to here today…We send lots of our best *healing snoogles* winging their way across the water to her today

  14. Brian says:

Yikes! I just came from another blog and their car died too! Hope ours is okay. Have a great weekend Easy!

  15. Priscilla says:

Oh dear, Mama Easy didn’t have a very easy day. Our paws and fingers are so crossed tightly for Mama Easy; hope she is feeling better soon.

  16. Kyla says:

All this at one time? The worst thing is having to drive a slushbox. He called the one-gear cars “slushboxes” and He refuses to buy one. He says the best thing about it is that She can’t drive it because She can only drive a slushbox.

    • That’s true Kyla. I hope the car-guy can revive the old car, because most of the used cars on the market are “incomplete” and haven’t a gear box. But the worst are the rides with shift paddle – that’s the horror. I wonder why this automatic cars are now so popular here too…maybe the people forgot how to drive a car?

  17. kolytyi says:

That Macarons must have been damned with the curse “Everybody who eats 3 Macarons of the same colour will be dogged by misfortune.” If she hadn’t given one Macaron to your dad, a fourth misery would have happen in your crib. And if she had offered a Weimaraner 3 of them, then … at least, your backyard would have received frequent visits.

    • The Macarons were the consolation for this day :o) But if they are really cursed , she will have an interesting week :o) She offered me Z.E.R.O. I think that’s a reason to put the next spell on her …

      • kolytyi says:

I think a nice little mouse as a present would be enough to convince her to be more generous towards you. She hasn’t even repaid that fantastic gift yet!

      • I’m not sure, I think mice aren’t really a gift for her – one of them commited suicide in a bucket :o)

      • kolytyi says:

How big is your mom’s back paw recently? Could she sleep in the night? I’ve had a similar injury when at primary school, a schoolmate jumped on my foot during playing basketball. I needed about 40 minutes for a normally 15-minutes way homewards and limped a whole week.

      • The elephant-leg is much better soon, I hold her in motion the whole time. But it’s really uncomfy when you can’t walk or only very slowly.

  18. Feel better Easy’s Mom! Rest your ankle lots, and let those two boys of yours take good (hopefully?!) care of you for the weekend 🙂

  19. kristinives says:

Feel better soon to your mom! Mmmmm…..macaroons!

  20. LifeOfBun says:

Ohhh don’t you just looove when you walk into every open cabinet door and go to the store when it just closed? And and can’t find your recharger and BLAH I hate BLAH days! But at least it’s weekend! And all energy that goes down must come up again as well!

  21. Max's Mom says:

Poor Mom! We are for sure sending hugs, prayers and happy thoughts her way! What a crappy day! Maybe it is a sign that you are close to coming into some money so you can get a new camera, car and well, maybe good pillows for your ankle! Poor you! It seems to always hit all at once! Hugs! Here’s hoping for a MUCH better today!!!

    • Oh Max – that would be cool – but sadly, yesterday we won nothing in the lottery and my treasure hunt ended with finding the handle of a toilet brush. But tomorrow is a new day with new ideas :o) … and maybe we’ll find something wherefore we can use the old handle :o)

  22. Zena says:

😦 Hope the ankle swelling has gone down and you definitely need a new cam. You are such a handsome fellow – no second class pics should be allowed. Though I have to say, I haven’t noticed that the pics are bad quality. Those Macarons looked great, and I don’t like them! They looked better than the ones sold in the bakery here – your mum must be a good cook – you just have to insist she only bakes things you can share.

    • Sadly the macarons are from a… ahemmm… discounter. To prepare them at home is a deal with the devil :o) We are searching for a new snap-thingy, but sadly there are worlds between dreams and reality (as always)

  23. Sasha says:

I am sending hugs and Sashy kisses to your Mom. She had a really bad day, but I hope she is feeling better today. I hope you got at least one of those macarons.

    Loveys Sasha

  24. Goose says:

I am so sorry to her about your mom’s injury. But good thing she has you to be her guide dog.

    • That’s what I always say, buddy: at least she has Moi. I will help her to find the perfect cam and the perfect car … hope we find also someone with the perfect card hahahaha

  25. boscocat says:

  28. cecilia07 says:

HI EASY…OMDs mom lost focus when she saw the macaroons…they look quite yummilicious!! Hugs from your BFFFMadi
PS thank you for you kind words on our counter tops…I was banished from the house for an entire month in 2006 while the Chef’s kitchen was renovated

    • Thanks Madi – It’s really great – hope I’m not banned from the house if mom’s begging for such a countertop is successfull (currently probably not – pheew!)

  29. dogdaz says:

Sorry about the ankle. Maybe it is time for the Uggs to go the way of the shutter – time for some new stuff in your life. Out with the old and in with the (new) lightly used. Those Maccarons look to die for.

    • The uggly uggs are on the way to the cadillac ranch (hope we will not get a bill for hazardous waste). Such a day deserved Macarons – they have so much sugar inside that they could make even the Grinch happy :o)

  30. Noreen says:

Hi there, So sorry your Mom has had such a bad week; however, I know from experience that when my day is bad-a big kiss from a furbaby makes everything better.
Hopefully, all the broken items will get fixed quickly and easily. I think the Macaroons would help too.
    Wags, Noreen & Hunter

  34. Lavinia says:

  35. onebluedog says:

  36. Oh your poor mom, the Chessie gang are sending her hugs and speedy healing.
