HAPPY MOM’S SUNDAY

Last night I was pondering about the perfect gift for mom. Ok, we had a voucher as always, because dad and me, we are just guys and we have no clue what mom really wants. Women have always no clue what they want, so how shall we know? Therefore a voucher is the best idea to avoid to be literally in the doghouse and on her hit list till next mom’s day or all eternity.
I was nervous and I couldn’t sleep, so I jumped in and out of my bed and I ran back and forth while pondering. Butt at 4:10 AM I’ve heart a “WHACK” – wow that was like music in my ears. And there it was, the perfect gift for mom:

I ran like a streak through my bed, with smashing some displaced humanoid body parts to get the trap. Pheeeew, that was really a last minute gift…

And guess what? Mom said, that’s the best gift ever… and above dads head and his pitiful voucher the big “L” paraded…

Although we all are dogtired today and we’re looking like this guy:

And while dad had to go out in this darned cold night to export the bedroom-mouse to the neighborhood I occupied his bed and got a bazillion of hugs from mom.

I hope all mom’s will be spoiled today with such fabulous gifts and if you ask me, a mouse is a very fancy gift idea…and I’ll bet your mom will be as overcome by creep joy as mine.

What a LOVELY gift for your Mom for Mother’s Day Easy! Did you tie a bow around its’ tail to dress it up a bit for the occasion??? Very sneaky of you to pop into Dad’s side of the bed while he was exporting the present to the great outdoors in the middle of the night…..but extra hugs from Mom sound delightful. I gave my Mom a card this morning but there were no mice involved – the day is young though……who knows what I might find around here!

Maybe you can find a mouse or a frog? All girls like mice and frogs – trust me :o) But I think your mom is very happy about your post today too – it was so wonderful :o) The main thing is we can sleep tonight without mouse-clamour and war cries of the Weimaraner… although I’m not sure, because they had just a coffee (from mom’s trash-store) and it seems now they sleep no more… that’s pure “speed” :o)
Easy that is the best gift ever. Mum must have been thrilled. I would so like to come over and dead it for you. Maybe I should head out now and see if I can find some vermin to dead for my peeps. Happy Mothers’ Day and have a serene Sunday.

I agree with Mum……..one less mouse. They say if you see one, there is twenty more around. I don’t know they, but I wish them wrong. If there are twenty more, imagine the ride you could take being ultra mouse removal service contractor. Bribes would certainly come into play. I guess mice live around the world………If you are running short, maybe we could import some. I won’t how tough that would be to do. The UK has super tough import legislation. hmmmm
That could open up new possibilities… I would have the perfect gift for all reasons, maybe I could dress them up with a santa hat for christmas and bunny ears for easter – not bad. I think the theory is true, mice are companionable. Hope we will have them only in the back porch, the house is completely mice-clean (nose proved by me) Have a wonderful Mother’s day and a fabulous sunday :o)
