There is no doubt, ALL dogs are magic. Some of my relations were famous in the olden times in many cultures on the whole slice earth.

AR-RAQIM

is the name of the dog who was guarding a cave where 7 saints found a refuge as they were haunted in a religious war. The legend says that this 7 saints were sleeping in this cave for centuries. The legend is known in Islam and Christianity (in Christianity without a dog). The memorial day of the 7 sleepers is the 27th of june and well known as the dormous day or seven sleepers day. In folk belief this day is an important day for weather prediction: when it rains on this day then the next 7 weeks are rainy too.

BARGHEST.

lives in the UK, in Yorkshire. His crib is in Trollers Gill but sometimes he is on the move in York where he is frighten people who are on the street by night. The legend says that people who meet the Barghest have to die. Later the Barghest became a movie star, he was starring in Devil Dog as “Lucky” and  in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban as the “Grim”. Even in online games the Barghest is wellknown, he is a character in The Lords of the Rings – The Shadows of Angmar and in Dungeon and Dragons. He made a lot of wonga and last year he bought a villa on St. Barth for hibernation…

INUGAMI

is a god in the japanese mythology. He is a mighty spiritual being, who can be conjured by special persons, called as INUGAMI MOCHI. They can use the Inugami for special missions like driving people in madness (no, we are not related!), or punishing them for bad doings. In worst case he has to kill this people. This job screams for relaxing leisure activities and therefore the Inugami is drawing mangas and writing haiku’s in his leisure time.

KERBEROS

in latin CERBERUS or PHOBEROS is a dog from greek mythology. He is the guardian of the underworld and his job is to make sure that no one can’t come out from the underworld and no living person can’t come in.

He has three heads but some legends say he can have 50 or 100 heads. I think that’s not bad, if you have more than one head you can bark while eating and in addition you can kill some toys too. That’s the perfect multi tasking if you ask me… If he is drooling then on the places where his saliva meets the floor will grow aconites, who are poisonous. Even the Kerberos has a second job , he starred “Fluffy” in Harry Potter and the philosophers Stone.

BLACK SHUCK

also known as the OLD SCHUCK is a british citizen. He lives in Norfolk, Essex and Suffolk since many centuries until today. Even the Vikings knew him and described him as a black dog with glowing eyes who can be as large as a horse ( too much MEAD I think). He also can spit fire. He is a first class evil doer. His profession is to frighten people to death. If he is boring to frighten people he likes to damage churches. In the evening of the 4th of August in 1577 he destroyed the churches of Bungay and Blythburgh. As a memorial of this day the weathervane on the marketplace of Bungay has the shape of a jumping dog and on the goalposts of the church of Blythburgh you can see the burn marks of his fiery breath till today. He inspired Sir Arthur Conan Doyle to his novel “The hound of the Baskervilles”. If he is not good by the wonga he works incognito for an italian oil company named ENI as their mascot, therefore he is dressed as a six-legged fire spitting dog.

is the most enchanting magic dog and a mighty wizard. He is a goodlooking Weimaraner,  currentlySINGLE! (for all interested girls) and he lives in Brittany. He rules the world and if you want to spend your life in peace and harmony, you should revere him and send him treats and toys daily. Otherwise he can put a spell on you and……………..
