WARM UP WEDNESDAY
.
.
Today we had a cold morning and I didn’t like to go out at 6:30 AM. So I was staring out of my back door while my mom was waiting in the garden for me till she was looking blue with cold like the “Smurfette”.
I went back to my bed immediately and decided to wait for the climate warming . I checked out the climatic situation with my TAILMOMETER and we had …ahhhm… ehhmmm… too cold!
.
.
At noon we had at least 3° C/~ 37° F and I took a run instead a walk, which made my humanoide kite (DAD) not really happy. Think he was pissed because the daily tried “lift off” failed again – maybe he has to lost some weight or he should move in his landing flaps at the right time…or… hmmm.. search me…
.
.
Finally he was angry about me and I covered myself and provoked him with impertinent staring ;o)
I will spend the rest of this day with some documentaries on TV and a nice cup of tea, think if you live on a currently cold place you should do so….
.
.
HAVE A WARM WEDNESDAY ALL!

I can certainly understand your lack of interest in going out in the cold. I mean, you and Goose have so little to keep you warm. I think I will ask My Vickie to save my shedded hair and knit you all a Bert Coat.
Hahahah that makes me laugh. Vickie Knit….hahahahah
maybe she can stick together all the hairs with glue? a Bert-coat sounds very good ;o)
My mom can’t knit, we have a started sweater-knit-project in a box on our attic since my mom was 15 years old lol
Easy it is quite cold here as well! I think the documentaries and TV and in my case, coffee, sounds like a great idea!! Love your “impertinent stare” and “TAILMOMETER” BOL! Barks and licks and love, Dakota
Dakota, I think it’s a good way to survive such a cold day… better to watch “the love-life of the ants” than to be a carnivore icicle ;o)….hmmm or we could buy shoes hahahaha
Love the tailmometer Easy..BOL, its so cold here in the mornings, all me furz stick up on end, and me teef chatter 🙂 Watching TV and drinking tea to me, sounds like a good plan 🙂 xx00xx
Mollie and Alfie
a tailmometer is a very important body part and the best is: humans don’t have one, ha! watching tv and drinking tea could be good – but we have only boring trash on all channels ;o)
MOL! Sorry guys, and Easy…it is mildly cool in Nor Calif and where Da and Mom are, Mexico, it is 84F. They are swimming in ocean and pools…me…all alone at home…sigh
…they are swimming in ocean….hahaha….maybe we have to exchange the cold atlantic with the warm pacific… hope your Auntie is back soon and you can spend the time together with some funny games … but otherwise… 5 years isn’t a short time lol
My word, it is cold there. I’d be right with you Easy, under the covers and demanding tea (well, maybe whiskey but still…)
…aaaah whiskey …. that’s a kind of Whiskas but to drink? or not?
Well, I know dogs like Whiskas cause Litchi is always stealing the cat food but I’m more into the drinking variety.
Poor Easy! The cold never bothers me, it’s quite refreshing with my coat.
I think so, Clowie – you are a lucky guy ;o) Hope you have warm feet too?
I break the ice to splash in puddles, I don’t seem to feel the cold at all.
it’s good to be a “allrounder” – I’m like the summer tire on a car hahaha
Some how I feel a little short on the tailometer. I would have to stick my butt out to far from the warm covers to get a true reading of the temps outside. Hope the documentaries is on kite flying. I do know that if you and I took your dad for a fly we could get him high in the air.
Blessings,
Goose
hahaha, you can use your “Buttometer” too, that’s true… the kite project could work – hope they don’t shot him off – for being a UFO :o)
Stay warm sweet Easy and enjoy that tea and documentaries. Hugs and nose kisses
Thanks Chancy, hope it’s not cold on your place and you and your pawrents are well ;o)
3° C is cold!!
I like your impertinent staring 😉
Purrs
…yes it is, Texas… it’s the first cold day…and a little bit uncomfy , but wit tea and tv I think we could “survive” ;o)
I like your Tailometer strategy, E. I should try that before coming out from under the blankets. It was cold here, today. Mom said, “You need to wear your jacket today.” Then she FORGOT. Brrrr!
Love and shivers,
Cupcake
ahhh Cupcake what goes on with the humans? I got my food with delay, you have no jacket….what’s next?
Brrrrrrrr humbug just isn’t fun at all!
that’s true, Brian, I couldn’t shake so fast as I froze :o)
Dad should chill out so He can warm up.
I think so, Kyla…humans are always so unrelaxed… maybe because they haven’t a Tailmometer ;o)
Sorry to hear the colder weather reached your shores as well. We are above freezing, unlike a few days ago. It is supposed to get to a balmy 50 degrees and the Weims are so happy. Nevertheless, the day is gray and overcast at the moment, so we wait for the the heavens to part and bring us sunshine to warm our heart and body. I hope you get some too!
I hope so. But my Tailmometer shows me cold weather for the next days – fortunately we haven’t rain – that would be too much )
Shoot–do you have an umbrella for the tailmometer? Winter is just starting and I am tired of it already, except for the demise of the flies, which saw a bumper year in the Treasure Valley.
You are cracking us up wuth the humanoid kite. I nearly broke the peeps finger the other day when making a dash out of the front door like a mad things. Have a wonderful warm and cosy Wednesday Easy.
Best wishes Molly
uh oh – fingers of peeps are very sensitive body parts..and they are howling if I bite in it ;o) Have a warm tea&tv wednesday too
Perhaps your daddy needs some more practice being a kite!!!
I love the cold, looks like you need a nice warm coat – or breakfast in bed BOL
haha Misaki winter is your season, huh? maybe my dad needs a long paper tail for being a good kite ?
ps I have something for you on my bloggy:-) http://wp.me/p2h87n-ti
That tailmometer really comes in handy doesn’t it…..! Can’t blame you for choosing WARM house vs. COLD outside…..you look cozy in your comforter so why bother taking your kite for a walk anyway?! You need a nice warm winter coat – maybe something in leather with chains and studs on it??????
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
yeah…like a Rock Star…. I have a coat and I think tomorrow I don’t go ‘naked’ ;o) or we go all ‘without’ ;o)
Hello handsome! Cuddling under warm covers watching bad tv sounds like a great idea! Chilly here too. http://saymberblondi.wordpress.com/2012/11/14/a-random-sort-of-morning/
hahah I’m still reading – OMD think your temperature would set my Tailmometer out of order :o)
You always have very sound advise.
hahah I think that’s the only way to “survive” with two humans in my crib :o)
I hope your dad didn’t try to find an answer to this question in the third pic: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_make_a_horse_walk_backwards
BOL but maybe I can use it for train my staff – a backwards-walk sounds interesting ;o)
We are moving into winter temps here too, Easy. It is really cold early in the morning, but you know what – we love it. Mom has to work really hard to get us to come inside. It sure beats the heat we had this summer.
We love that idea of a tailmometer – very clever.
Woos – Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
I know now is the season for the nordic dogs and I’ll bet you all are laughing about coats and boots ;o)
I don’t blame you for staying bundled up!
Nubbin wiggles,
Oskar
Thanks Oskar, think tea&tv is a good way fos spending the cold season :o)
It’s getting cold here in Chicago, but luckily we have a fireplace. Stay warm!
The fireplace is a good thing, I’m warming up my butt there – but sadly it is impossible to warm your butt and watch the flames at the same time :o)
I like your impertinent stare! I wish I had the face for it, but I’m too fluffy, the impact would be lost.
Raffles has a long nose so he can do supercilious quite well, or he will if he ever understands what it means and feels it. At the moment he is at that ‘isn’t everything wonderful’ stage. I remember that, it lasted for six years with me but now I’m down to earth with a bump and a lot of puppy slobber – yuck.
Maybe that would keep you warm – puppy slobber – want a puppy? I could send him over next flight if I can just smuggle him past The Director and The Producer 😉
Oh the “isn’t everything wonderful” stage is a dangerous time. This brought me a swallowed sponge and a very uncomfy procedure at the vet. Since then I hate Sponge-Bob ;o)… I think you didn’t need a special face – you are the Princess and you rules… maybe you need only a Guillotine (off with their heads!)? I would adopt Raffles, but my staff said “no, please not even a dog” can you send me his measurements, maybe I can hide him in my toy box as an illegal immigrant like Fievel ;o)
Dear Easy,
Voting for the Greatest Contest of All Time is open.
Time to gather your troops and vanish the competition.
Regards,
Me
I voted – NOT for me. But I wish all would win…
Hi’ya Easy…
Being you is certainly not ‘easy’…dealing with 2 leggers is hard work. Actually I think your Dad should be thankful you were willing to put your handsome self under him for support…tell him practice makes purrfect.
hugs madi
no, sometimes it isn’t :o) ..think I should do more practice to be PURRRfect too ;o)
EASY! Guess what!! I had the best dream ever last night, I dreamed that I worked at a Weimaraner kennel! Haha it was like HEAVEN! It was so clean and the people were so nice and I was surrounded by Weimaraners and their puppies!!! Thought I would share that with you, Im a bit obsessed with Weimaraners now that I read about your adventures every day and you’re so darn handsome! Lol you’re a star!
Thanks!!! That’s a very nice dream, wish I had a lot of Weimaraners in my crib (but I’m afraid this would drive my staff into madness)
Don’t freeze Easy! I would not like to see a Weimaraner popsicle!
As for the kite failure…maybe you need to add one of those fancy kite tails? Or a propeller? Don’t give up!
That’s could be an idea, Remy…. or he should drink some flight petrol…
We understand completely! We did not want to go out Monday morning at 6:00 am but Dad does not give up. It was pouring down rain and 32F, 0C felt like winter came in overnite. But Wednesday was better, it was about 42F, 5C and turning Sunny. We just run out and go and then right back to our beds:)
Tailmometer – priceless!
I’ll bet you have one too – this bodyparts are very pawsome ;o)
