Today was our DIY-Tuesday. Oh Boy, what a day. My mom painted the walls like crazy but she hasn’t finished so far. Sounds like another DIY-chaos tomorrow.
With this color and my ebony doors my crib looks like a Funeral-Store, no joke.
WHAT WE LEARNED TODAY:
A Weimaraner is unique. You can’t counterfeit or copy the coat of a Weimaraner. That’s the point.
COLOR-CHECK: Not in a million years , Lady….
NEXT TRY: Mix it up, BABY!!!
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
Ok, Ok, OK, it’s a Weimaraner color… but like a Weimaraner who was fallen in a swamp…
NO comment!
VERY IMPORTANT: Be always on the right place…
..not matter what they say, be on the right place…
…always and ever..
…even if it is cramped…
My dad said, we should get it dry, but if you ask me, about this DIY-Project, one word: FAILED

Poor Easy…..all this upheaval and still not quite the right shade of Weimaraner! I bet you wish this whole thing was over and done with don’t you……perhaps patience will pay off in the end. We can only hope right pal???
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
O Sammy, this DIY-madness will be a never ending story….Fortunately the entertainment factor is very high and I have a lot of laughing :o)))
Easy buddy. What you are going through. I should have known that our color could not be imitated. I mean look at us this way and then that and we change and shimmer and glow. That is how it is with the Silver Ghost. No human endeavor could ever match our color. By the way have they gotten a ladder out yet?
Blessings,
Goose
You’re so right Goose. Hope they will not paint me with the color too – to get a successful result…. Sadly, we don’t use a Ladder, but I’ve tried my best to sabotage … uhhhm I mean… support the project…
Yooo’s come lives wiff me.. all dat DIY going on 😦 hops on the train..yoo’s be here in no time 🙂 Yipeeeeeee. When there matchin the paint to yor color I hope they got silk, cos yoo’s got a luv-ly silk, shinny coat.
Yours … F.L XXXX
Oh Mollie, they spent all the bucks of their riddiculous DIY-things, but I will figure out if I can send myself in a parcel with ups overnight…
Easy you are so silly! you are welcome to come here but you would have to put up with a barking Sheltie and a kitty that is food obsessed
Hi Dakota, that goes together, I’m barking the whole day and I’m obsessed for food… Should I bring a pair of earmuffs for your mom with me?
I hope your dad is right and waits until they dry. It may not be an exact match to your shimmery coat, but the walls look rich and chocolaty in that last photo.
hey, Easy! I belatedly turned my wall calendar to August and what did I see but a Weim staring back at me! Yay! 🙂
Enjoy it, the whole month a Weim on your wall – thats more than we have currently LOL
Hi, the silly thing is, after drying the walls look in a green-muddy shade… no idea why… :o)))
If you find a great home would you like a Puffball as a companion? Faithful, loving and playful – and she’s easy to decorate for – pure white!
Zac, my mom said yesterday, she would adopt you or the puffball – no joke. Your are “the all black” and the puffball is white – best credentials for fabulous a wall color…
OMG, poor Easy! Human staff… terrible!
How do your walls look after drying? If you examine and compare your photos, you can see that your fur can have similar colours under different conditions!! Maybe, the only solution is to use your posters as wallpapers – and to this, a ladder is necessary!
My mom got the same idea yesterday, but my dad said, one Weim in natura is more than enough and we need no more “Wall-Weims” – but I’m sure, I will find a way to incude a Ladder, do you agree…
They do get some strange ideas! Just when everything is comfortable and nice, they have to change it!
Clowie, exactly this is the point. Humans have no senses for comfy living.
Come and live with me!! Daddy’s friend has a girlie Weim who I’m sure you’d like… 🙂
Oh that would be nice! Oh and you can drive a car… this offer sounds really goooood!!!!! Do you have the number of that girl?
Can’t really believe you’re willing to jump ship in the middle of a great opportunity – find a ladder Easy, it can’t be that hard? Easier than posting yourself by UPS. It’s the waiting for paint to dry that’s getting to you, isn’t it 😉
BOL – yes it is…. dried the color looks diffrent but not better :o))).. poor mom…
You really crack us up Easy. Loved your newspaper ad. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
Same to you Molly!!!!!
Does that color resembles your fur when wet? If not I’ll help you look for a place a new set of slaves.
Thanks, Doggy!
Oh Easy, they are trying so hard and you go and put an ad in the paper?!?! Was a fantastic ad though – well done! Had a good giggle at the entire post.
:o)))
Easy, you have all the right moves…keep the peeps on their footsies trying to make sure you don’t have to move or get hurt! MOL and that paint looks like the mud left over after a flood!! Totally not on you color wheel my furriend! paw pats, Savannah
You’re right, think my staff is colorblind, maybe two ‘hu-moles’.
It looks like a lot going on there and busy, busy, busy but sweet Easy did you think through real good the idea of a new home? We figure if you just hang tight for a spell soon you will see everything back in order and a very nice looking wall to enjoy. Hugs and nose kisses
Oh Chancy I hope they will finished this soon, than I will think about movement (and if the food will be yummy, I will stay)
