MY, YOUR, OUR?
Let me tell you something about ownership of dogs:
I was picked by my dad. He saw my pic on the breeders site an was fallen in love. His name is in my passport on all of my papers. That could mean, I’m his dog.
After I entered my new family, I spent the most time with my mom, while my dad had to renovate my crib, because they had a smoldering in the living room and my whole crib was messed up with black grease and flakes. I was in an embossing phase, mom was my reference person, so I maybe could be her dog.
The ownership is randomly and is decided by event and who is angry about me. Badly thinking people said I would play one off against each other….would I do something? – NAAAAAAH!
But I’m still not really sure whose dog I am….
This is an example for being mom’s dog:
She is cooking my food every day and removes the leftovers from the flor, like carrots or rice.
And this one for being dad’s dog:
IT WASN’T ME!
I have to cover me while a female dragon is raging through my crib …..aaaaaaand dad has to pay the compensation, of course.
This means our dog:
A very rare natural phenomenon, same as in policy – a totally agreement is uncommon…
and this… ahhhmm.. means probably free to adopt?
A common situation, takes a nano-second or till all came down again…
Whose pet are you?
PS: No matter whose pet you are, mainly thing is you have a good home and get all the love of your family
Oh Easy, we guess it depends on the hat you wear each day but listening to you, it sounds like you can wear them all at the same time. You have very forgiving people around you considering your free spirit 😀
Oh yes, that’s true… but I gave them my word of honor, that I’ll be decent after my 3th birthday next month (both were laughing very loud, maybe they were so happy about )
We can almost see your honest look as you were saying that.
Dat was luv-ly Easy, and what a cutie pup yoo was 🙂
xxx
Thanks Mollie, I’ll bet you were a cute puppy too…
Oh Easy what a nice post and i agree with Mollie that you were a cutie pup and are now a handsome and shiny grown up guy (for a dog of course). I know you aren’t crazy about cats but I AM glad that you let me be your “long distance” friend!! 😀 😀 Like you said, it doesn’t really matter WHO we “belong” to as long as we and they are happy, healthy and get lots of treats of course…..:D:D
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
Thanks, Sammy, that’s so nice. I’m glad about you are my long-distance friend, its the LDF than.
I’m owned by a grumpy old ginger cat – don’t tell her I said she’s gingee though because she prefers to think of herself as a pinky beige.
A pinky-beige cat is pretty awesome!!! And she owned you – that’s absolute funny :o)))
Easy that was a sweet post. Have a great Sunday.
Best wishes Molly
Thanks Molly and best wishes to Norman if you see him…
No question about it, I am my MOM’s dog. But it’s just her and me. Even if there were more in our house it she would be mine and I would be hers. It was meant to be that way.
Blessings,
Goose
ps- if you need to be adopted out MOM says come on over. I say, yep come on over I will share.
I think the most Weimaraner are a little bit mom’s dog, maybe because we need a lot of cuddling. I’ll bet my staff does not bear a day without me. But my greatest wish is to have a Weimaraner Buddy or someone in my size as a friend for playing the whole day…
Ohhh Easy what a great post!! Yes the most important thing is a good home with love!
I am mostly my Dad’s dog, even if I WAS a birthday gift for Mom….
Mom ADORES me but she loses patience with my barking BOL!!! Mom loves doggies but is more used to kitties 🙂
I am Dad’s “Golden Child”
Your pal, Dakota
How funny, Dakota. It’s the same as happened to my mom long years ago: she got a Foxterrier at christmas, but the doggy was 100% the dog of my grampy, only when he wasn’t there he noted that my mom existed.
Oh Easy, what a beautiful pup you were, and your brothers and sisters, too!
You have YOUR staff. Divide et impera – divide and rule!!! But do not protest if they want to love you at once!!!
What has happened to your dog-mom?
She passed away by a bloat, her humom is a vet and starts an emergency surgery, but unfortunately she lost my weim-mom….
I’m so sorry about her – she was a beautiful, wonderful dog!
Unfortunately I met someone of my ‘Weim-Family’ very rarely. From time to time on a Show….To rule is easy for me as my name… but to share or divide is very difficult ,I try to work on it (a little bit)
we are a small pack. just mom and me. but some days we make room for the grandpawents and uncle Eric. depending on whether they have food or let me sleep on the chairs and whether they do not laugh at me sliding all over their hard floors.
Sounds like a very closed relationship, that’s cool! Maybe you should put some signs in your house let them know how they have to behave ? For slippering floors you can try special tapes for the paws
Although technically all of us but Nutty belong to the little hoomans Mummy does all the feeding, grooming, cleaning and caring for us. If whee need food or bedding Mummy buys it. If whee are sick Mummy uses her small amount of money earnt babysitting to pay off a two hundred pound vet bill! (Yes, that actually happened!)
Whee are defintely Mama’s Boys. And proud!
Nibbles, Nutty, Bingo & Buddy

Wow, you have such a fabulous mom!!! I wish from the bottom of my heart, you will need no vet, expect for ‘routine inspections’ , again for your whole life.
Agree with the loving home bit – most essential.
I have to say we are Beloved’s dogs. This is a bit sad for her beloved. We don’t ignore him or leave him out. We greet him in the morning, he comes on our walks with us and we come when he calls. Well. Not really, but then we don’t always come when Beloved calls. Come isn’t a command Tibbie’s take much notice of.
Beloved feeds us though and at night we both lie on her lap. I know it isn’t that comfortable for any of us and I’ve told The Princess to go on a spare lap somewhere else as I was in the house first, but……. that’s just how it is.
As a breed we tend to love our whole pack but identify very strongly with one. Beloved is The One.
I agree, I think it’s a generous gesture, if you will greet Belove’s beloved every morning :o)))
BTW: my granny is totally obsessed for Tibbie’s :o)
Hi Easy, Its me Bert, from fourleggedviews. Thanks for suggesting me to Molly for her Sunday post. That was really cool. I am very excited to follow your blog. My buddy Goose says you are a “Crack UP” and that you make him and Pastor Michelle laugh heartily.
So nice to meet you and I’ll be back soon.
Bert and My Vickie
Hi Bert, the story of big Murphy was gorgeous!!! I love it to ransack my mom’s handbag, the only ‘victim’ since yet was the phone :o)))
A good home is essential, but in our house, I think our dogs own us! 🙂 They are treated like family and we love them so much and would do anything!I am a big dog lover and have two dogs of my own, Zeus and Lucky. They are so funny, loving, and snuggly! I love them with all of my heart and soul! My name is Melissa Crowley and I am on a mission to save my favorite dog! I have started a blog for my Rottweiler Zeus called Saving Zeus. He has a rare genetic disorder and we are trying to raise funds for the medical tests and treatment that he desperately needs. Also on my blog, I have funny stories and really cute photos of both of my boys. If you would like to make a donation or share our blog to help us save Zeus, or would just like a laugh after reading a funny story, visit my page. Since I am just getting started on my blog, there will be many more stories to come so check back every once in a while!
Hi, nice to meet you. It’s so great that you will do all what you can to save Zeus. We are hopping over to read&following your blog.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and reading about my boy Zeus!
Sweet Easy we thinks you are just part of the family and we are so happy you have one that loves you and takes such good care of you. This post is sweet. Hugs and nose kisses
Hi Chancy, I’m glad about this. I think you have the same good home and a family who loves you very much. We are lucky boys, huh?
If I’m good, I am mummy’s doggy. If I’m bad I’m daddy’s BOL.
ps, you were a super-cute pup!
Misaki, I think this is the regular way, same in our house… Mom’s dog is cute, cuddly and nice – but dad’s dog has 100 tiny devils inside…
I think you sure found the purrfect loving home!
I think so and I wish all kitties and doggys the same – they all deserve & need it !!!
That picture of you as a puppy is just the sweetest thing ever. As far as playing one off against the other is concerned, I think it’s mandatory. Never met an animal that doesn’t.
BOL, pets are in some things not really different as humans…:o)
First I must say AWWWWWWWWWWW, your puppy photo is just adorable!! I think you have enough love to be both, mum and dads dog 🙂
Thanks, it is a question of reasons, circumstances and the kind of current issues whose dog I am :o)))))
awww Easy!! You are a Mamma’s and a Pappa’s dog!! And you are fast becoming a “world” dog! you are rockin’ the blogosphere with your posts!! luvluvluv them!…paw pats, Savannah
Wow thanks Savannah, I get blushing about your compliment – and my staff had to change the wall color again :o)
Awww…
