SLEEPLESS WEDNESDAY
.
.
We are sleepless. Not in Seattle but here in my crib. Now we are two with INSOMNIA. Yesterday my dad had another surgery and now he is looking like one of my destuffed friends and the threads are hanging down from his back. He had no idea in which position he should sleep and I had the same problem. We decided to stay awake the whole night. Two guys with the same pain on different bodyparts, alone in the dark like lonsome cowboys on their forsaken nightwatch. We had not even a campfire, because mom disallowed a BBQ on the bed – BOO! party pooper!
.
.
We decided to watch TV and to share some snacks and we made noises like a horde of wild boars – if we can’t sleep why the mom should kip like a groundhog next to us? Are we living in a republic? YES, we are. And the key note of a republic is democracy. Everything for all. So no one has to sleep here. And that’s that and that’s flat.
Tomorrow I have my vet appointment, I try to visit the guy if the band makes a break so I can’t miss a dance. Clever, huh?
Oh and if we are talking about the Valentines Ball – don’t forget to vote for King&Queen and the best dressed couple.
…I’m busy now I have to catch up on some sleep:

LAUGH, AND THE WORLD LAUGHS WITH YOU – SNORE AND YOU SLEEP ALONE - Anthony Burgess

You snore like Archie
LOL
That was my first thought too ;o)
Fine words Easy , indeed you snore you sleep alone. Good luck tomorrow and our very best wishes to dad. We send you both POTP! Do give us a pup-date and see you and Goose at the ball. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
Thanks Molly – hope the vet can fix it at the drop of a hat – imagine the band would play a song of dads rival and I wouldn’t dance….
Easy we hope you and Dad have a better night’s sleep tonight. Your mom has her paws full looking after two injured men! hugs and see you tomorrow your BFFF
Madi
Thanks Madi – that’s like a season of “Scrubs” here ;o) But we (or mom?) hope that the vet can fix this nail-thingy and all patients are patched up. Maybe then we all can’t sleep with joy ;o)
That’s nothing-you should hear Them-and you probably do even though you’re far away.
Oh poor Kyla – and you have to bear this? Snoring humans are the worst and after the “Chainsaw-massaker” they say: it wasn’t me ;o)
Woof! Woof! Wishing you the very best of a good night sleep. Continuing to send your paw Golden Healing Thoughts. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Thanks Sugar – maybe we have golden dreams tonight ;o)
Easy I’m so sorry that both you and your Dad are injured at the same time BUT hopefully if you can sneak in a little rest you will get back on your paws (you) and feet (Dad) soon. All that fancy footwork you’re doing on the dance floor at the Ball is probably keeping that paw from healing……!
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
Thanks Sammy ;o) But dancing is a great medecine too ;o) Hope tomorrow the vet-guy can fix my paw and I think dads “bomb crater” is better ;o)
Oh Easy we all hope that the vet-guy can fix that paw AND that your Dad’s back is better – I’m sure ALL of you would like to get a good night’s sleep!!!
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
I love your snore. My Vickie snores like a trucker. Maybe you two could share a room and I could sleep outside and get some real sleep.
Hope your dad gets better soon. But if you have any more of them hot dog roasting campfires, call me. I’ll grab Goose and we will be right over.
Bert
I think two snorer together could be interesting ;o) You shouldn’t go outside – better watch and enjoy it ;o) I have a lot of this hot dogs come over and we make the greatest campfire ever on my bed
)
Love the snoring, so funny Easy.. Big hugs to you and the de-stuffed DAD
XX00XX
Mollie and Alfie
Thanks Mollie … would you like the snoring by night too? BOL ;o)
Ha Easy!!! You DO snore loud! BOL! Love it! Hoping your Dad is feeling much better! Sending lots of healing licks!
Thanks Dakota, I hope he is well soon and we can start our snoring competition ;o)
I don’t understand why your mom won’t let you have a BBQ on the bed! I hope you and your dad are recovered soon.
Thanks, Clowie. I have no clue , I think moms have no sense about lonesome cowboys and cowdogs ;o) …and cold hot dogs – that’s a no-go ;o)
Excellent snoring Easy; I have taken notes
I hope the vet can help your paw feel all better. Maybe he can help your dad feel better too? I mean, it never hurts to ask, right?
That’s a good idea, Remy. Maybe the vet can prescribe him a cone – a cone is always good for humans – isn’t it ;o)
Dear Easy!
Me is so furry sorry about your Daddy! Me and Kozmo and the hairy slobbery sisters Bob and cinnamon will purrays for him!

Aw Easy I’m so sorry your foot’s still paining you…At least your Dad & you can keep each other company…I’m sure he appreciates you being there for him…When Momz can’t sleep I do my best to stay awake for her too…Meet me at the bar at the Ball & I’ll buy you a manly dawg shot
Thanks Gizmo – I hope tomorrow it looks better for me and dad ;o) I would like a glass of ice and a great bucket with whiskey for my paw…oh no, think I confused something ;o)
I sure hope the all better finds both of you really soon!
Thanks Brian – I think now we have solved the problems – I hope ;o)
Take your dad to the vet with you, E. Maybe the doctor can take a look at him and you’ll both be able to sleep tonight.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
That’s a good idea – maybe he will get a cone BOL ;o)
Hope you and your dad are feeling better xxxx
Thanks ;o) Hope we solved all problems now ;o) – and no one has to wear a cone – that’s not bad, huh?
That video put me to sleep. It’s like music to my ears. I sure hope all goes well at the vets. And I wish healing thoughts for your dad.
Blessings,
Goose
Thanks Gosse – no we can breathe. Are you snoring too ?
This is such a beautiful dog. The fur looks like gold. Wow. Best wishes to the dad and I hope the visit at the vet will go well:)
Thanks ;o) We solved all problems and even dad is better – maybe it’s the power of St. valentine ;o)
I’m seriously confused. How is it possible that your mom didn’t fall asleep when hearing your snore? It is the most beautifully composed melody I’ve ever heard! Only it could be a bit longer!
I hope that you didn’t drink too much champagne and neither destuffed your dad in the night nor have shaken him to death like poor Flipper!
She always thought dad is the snorer and tortured him at night – now she knows the guilty one ;o)
I try to be careful – but he should better use a security wall between us ;o)
Oh, sweet Easy we sure hope you and your dad are healing up and doing a lot of catch up on snoozing. One can only go so long without a good long sleep. Snore on sweet friend! Hope you get a good report from the vet. Happy Valentine’s Day! Hugs and nose kisses
Happy valentines day to you and your wonderful family ;o) I’m glad my paw is patched up and now I think all things will run well ;o)
