OH WHAT A NIGHT…
.
…I had. I couldn’t find a parking lot for my paw last night. I was searching for a parking lot like the last-minute christmas shoppers at Tesco’s one day before christmas. But the right place was nowhere.
.
.
At 3:10 AM the staff left my bed and made room for a barrier-free parking-lot search. But to find the perfect place needs time. Much time. So they stood freezing in their pawjamas in front of my bed like Hansel&Gretel in front of the gingerbread house. After one and a half eternity I found my place. I decided to park my butt on dads pillow and the wounded paw on the bed rest. Then I was waiting till they were entering the cheap places of my bed. Wait! The pillow is for the head, right? So they had to go out again till I turned myself 365 times around me and placed my revue-body across on dads pillow. PERFECT! He preferred to sleep with the head on the foot of my bed – without a pillow – of course.
.
.
Today my paw is looking not much better and it hurts, specially if they are torturing me with this darned spray.
We all look like the victims of a flat rate boozing, crinkled and dozily – not one day older than 108! Either we need some more sleep or a better anti wrinkle cream… Dad says he has headaches…
.
.
WOW! REALLY? YOU BET! HE NEED A CONE!
.
I think it’s better to take a nap, otherwise it could be that I’m tired tonight and would fall asleep before I can finish my late night show…
.
.
HAVE A NAPPING THURSDAY ALL

No Cone!! Don’t let them give you a cone!! Ohhhh Easy! We are hoping you feel better soon! Barks and licks and love, Dakota and Mom
No worries Dakota, the cone has gone…to the cone-heaven. I removed the clasp
) Mom is mad as hops and dad is sad (maybe he want to wear this torture-fashion) ;o)
Making for an Easy patient then
….mom has hope that I could be that … but if you ask me: naaaah ;o)
Woof! Woof! Funny on the anti aging cream. Glad your paw is doing well. Take it easy with that cone. Rest and take it easy. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Thanks Sugar, I hope this nightmare is over soon – it’s sooo boooooring:o)
Oh no not the cone, would be quite a lauff to see Daddy in it though. I hope your poor paw heals soon Easy
Big licks xx00xx
Mollie and Alfie
Thanks Mollie, sadly the cone had an accident too – not with the stairs – but with the teeth
)
Awww Easy, you gotta take care of that paw!
Purrs
I would Texas but the staff hampers me to take “good care” ;o)
Oh no Easy…not the Cone of Shame! You have enough to deal with without that indignity…It’s hard to find the right comfy place when something hurts…now that you found one make sure and mark it well and take plenty of naps there today…feel better soon…you have to be ready to dance all night at the Ball
Oh good idea Gizmo … I should mark my place ….hmm…maybe yellow? I’m sure I’m well till the ball ;o)
Hey Easy you rest up pal and make sure no licky licky of that paw of yours. Sending POTP to you. Have a good Thursday my fine friend if you can.
Best wishes Molly
Thanks Molly – but it’s hard to resist . I think I have a magnet on this paw…
Thew cone of shame is for chewing, not wearing. And the bed, the whole bed, is for Easy. There is plenty of room on the floor for the staff. Then everyone will be well rested if you get the whole bed and they get the whole floor. Make sure you get waited on so that you heal fast and properly.
Blessings,
Goose
haha that’s for sure – it’s my bed and I share it (not the best places – of course) because I’m generous. The cone is gone now. I removed the clasp and it has a hole now – you never know ;o)
Poor Easy, I feel so sorry for you (and, of course, for your parents who are definitely going to need some youth serum after all this). I hope your paw starts to heal quickly. Poor thing!
Thanks – I hope I’m well soon. It hurts and I’m not able to keep my back yard clean from invaders ;o)
Oh no, no CONE, please!!! Take it easy!!!
Paws crossed for a speedy recovery!!!
~Eva
The cone is ready for the trashcan now. I gave it a new design – but sadly now it is unusable ;o)
I think you should all take a siesta today. I hope you all sleep better tonight!
good idea Clowie – first I take a siesta – then I’m ready for the fiesta
)
I feel so bad for you that you can’t get a comfy
Maybe you can send me your comfy cat tree ;o)
LMFTO!!” Glad I don’t have to sleep at your home Easy! Oh what a night!! Sending some soft head bumps to heal your sweet paw, Savvy
hahaha I think so Savannah… I’ll bet the staff would also sleep somewhere tonight than together with me… Thanks for the healing kitty-bumps ;o)
Poor Easy….poor staff….! Nobody’s getting a decent rest since you damaged that paw in your tumble down the stairs. These things take time – that Spray From Hell is actually good for it – although it’s easy for US to say that when it hurts you so much! Seems to me that if you could get them to make you a wonderfully comfy “nest” on the floor with cozy blankets and pillows maybe it would be easier on you than hopping off the bed on that bad paw. AND they could get the rest they need in the bed so they can properly wait on you during your recovery! Either that or THEY get the floor and YOU get the bed. But staff and wounded dog in the same bed – - – - bad mixture for sleep!
Kitty Hugs of Sympathy, Sammy
That’s sooo true! In every hospital no one had to share the bed . I think they should have consideration for my paw. I would accept a nest but only in front of the open door of the fridge … but wait…that’s cold then…. hmmm.. then I take the bed and they could place the fridge in front of my bed…that’s better ;o)
See? There are several solutions to this problem and since you’re the WOUNDED WARRIOR you get to pick which solution is the best one for YOU!
Good luck……….
Sammy
Easy! I sleep on mom’s pillow! And I have a sore hip, so we had a night a little like yoursI I’m going back to sleep now…
-Bart
I hope your hip is better soon and I’ll bet to sleep on your mom’s pillow is helpful. Maybe we can celebrate the late night show together tonight ;o)
PeeeeeS: now we’ve got that dumb song in our heads!
Cone? Make Him wear it and then demand a walk in public. {snicker}
Oh that would be the picture of the year!!! That would be literally the walk of shame ;O) Sadly the cone is damaged now….
Healing on the wings of angels………….and no return of the bum-paw routine. Good grief, you gotta have that paw a working. Poor easy…….and Mum and Dad too!
First I thought, the boil on my paw is the only one problem. I never thought that I could injure my injured paw… Thanks for the healing wishes I hope I feel better soon and maybe we have a quiet night ;o)
Good work deading that cone, Easy! Now maybe take some naps so you can be ready for another paw parking spot search tonight
Thanks Remy – I think the damaged cone could be a symbol for all poor kitties and doggies who have to wear and to bear it. I was sleeping the whole afternoon – sounds promising for tonight ;o)
I think they should just give you the bed Easy, you are the patient afterall and need a decent night rest without the humans making lots of fuss about where they are going to sleep…BOL
Hope you’re feeling better xxx
I think so Miskai. I’m the impatient patient and I need a quiet place. For what we have a guest room?
Easy your precious paw makes me hurt to look at it. Mom told me it was much like a human stumping their toe on cement something and she knows how very very very painful that is too. Especially for walking. We hope before long you find it feeling a lot better. Bless your sweet heart
Hugs Madi and Mom
Mom said that’s the same as humans stumping with their toes on a very hard thing. Thanks, Madi – maybe you as the mayor can award me with a medal?
My first thought was that your mom should wear the cone – in order to not to see that you lick your injured paw. But I think this would not solve all issues. Perhaps you could wear a crash helmet – it would be really sporty! The only concern could be to find a parking lot for it at night!
That’s true… the cone is history now and destroyed. I hope they will sleep tonight like a log – then Dr. Easy can treat his paw ;o)
Besides having a good taste, does that spray relieve your pain?
not really … it is burning like fire and it smells godawful…but all this can’t keep me from chewing an licking ;o)
Paw injuries are the worst! Second worst, actually – cones of shame are the worst! Hope you get better soon and that mom and dad hold onto their sanity.
I hope I’m weel soon…. but paw problems need always too much time…sometimes the world is not fair ;o)
Poor Easy. I’m sad that your sore foot is making it hard to sleep. It’s only fair that if you can’t sleep, your family can’t sleep, either. Feel better soon. xoxo
Love and licks,
Cupcake
that’s the perfect democracy ;o)
Easy…. I hope your staff know how brave you are being. We dogs do not make a fuss, well, I do but that’s different
Me too, Princess, me too ;o) …and this staff is really mean – they know I can’t run away if they are coming with this hell-spray…
Ah Easy, I sure hope you rest that paw and it gets better. That looks pretty sore.
Love
Bert
I’m afraid I need an appointment with the vet again. I should sue this darned stairs ;o)
It can be hard to get comfortable if something hurts!
That’s true, there is no place comfy enough ;o)
Hullo!
We comings here to send you good paw.
You better has dad wearing loudspeaker. We wanna has dad doing that!
XX
sadly he can’t because I destroyed this darned cone…Just in case ;o)
Hullo, this is Jaya. You should RESPECT a loudspeaker.
Oh, sweet Easy we just read about your accident and we are so sorry to hear you have injured your paw. Ouch!!! It looks sore and all hurty. We sure hope it heals quickly. Good job on the barking sweetie we heard a bit of talking at the end of that video too…you tell ‘em sweet boy, you tell ‘em. Hugs and nose kisses
Thanks Chancy and Mumsy… sadly the paw isn’t okay and I have to go to the vet again. I hope he can fix it in a minute … ok, maybe in two ;o)
oh no the satellite dish
…sadly with this dish you got only boring tv-channels ;o)
