WHAT’S THIS?

Yesterday we celebrated the end of 2012 here in my crib. I had not much sleep, because I had to supervise this silly folk and came into my bed at 2:00 AM. Before 2012 buzzed off we celebrated an old custom: lead-pouring.
I was the first and my mom did it for me, here is the result.

I have no idea what it could be and the instruction sheet said nothing about this thing what I’ve got. It reminds me of my Dolphin Flipper and maybe this is his last revenge… Dad said it looks like a flea and I should save my pocket money for a package of Frontline…just in case…

Oh… and apropos Flipper: Mom said she brought him back to the ocean and renamed him “Free Willy”. But this is a fat lie. As she buzzed off with my granny they weren’t on the beach, they wasted their time in this notorious junk-store. No one had sand under the shoes only a yellow pricetag of 4.95 euros. Otherwise Flipper has a great leak and if you throw him in the ocean he would drown like the Titanic.

Dad said he brought him to the vet. That’s also a lie, because the vet is on holiday till the 6th of january.

So, where is Flipper? I have a terrible suspect: we had fish for lunch today…. mom said it was Salmon but she is a sly Liar… Did I had my BFF and christmas gift for lunch? And if so, am I a cannibal instead of a carnivore?

LMFBO!!! Easy! That dolphin is toast buddy! And not the kind you eat! H is like burnt toast in the rubbish bin and you never ever ate him….well…except for when you chewed off his flipper….but I am sure that doesn’t count! Happy New Year!

Frankly Easy, I am so confused I have no advice or answers for you at all. Fleas, Flipper, New Year, New Day, 2013…..it is all gving me a headache. So my advice to you is…..keep eating whatever they put in front of you, take your frontline like a man, and have a heck of a great New Year

Easy I don’t think your hoomins, crazy as they are, would feed you Flipper…I think they took him to hospital (he is a mammal) to get hisself fixed up so he can come back to play withe you. Please ‘splain more about the lead-pouring custom…This is new to us and we want to learn about it. *snoogles*
Oh the lead pouring is very easy: you have some small lead figures which you should place on a special spoon. Then you have to hold the spoon over a burning candle till the lead is melted. you have to put the melted lead into a bowl with cold water where it solidified immediately. Now you can take the lead out of the bowl and you can interpret the shade of your lump of lead with a description-sheet where you can read the meaning of the different shapes. for instance: a key-shape brings a lot of luck, a rocket-shape should be a bad sign….but most our shapes have no meaning or we have no idea what it could be… it’s more a joke but a funny time waster till 12:00 PM ;o)

MOL MOL MOL EASY after watching your video with Flipper we were wondering just how long he would be with you. As for your question ‘IF’ and we emphasis ‘IF’ you did indeed have Flipper for lunch…you are neither a cannibal or a carnivore…you are a brain-i-vore. BECAUSE fish is food for the brain !! At least that is what I say and I should know I eat a lot of fish.

I think the only time you ate Flipper, your BFF, was when you ripped his head off. No way the staff served him up for lunch. I hope.Look in the trash bin, I think you might find him hiding in there. I could send my surgeon over. She is real good at stitching back to gather all kinds of stuff. But I am sure this would be her first dolphin.

As ever, I start my year educated. Never poured lead…….cliff makes bullets. Does that count??? Probably not the same, and I don’t really think he does that at all…..I think he just buys them made. I am delusional.

We sincerely need good luck. Last year was riddled with things we would prefer not to happen. Regardless, a not so fun year is better than no year at all………….Lol

… it would sound unreliable if I would say: it wasn’t me, right?… but at least the bottom of my lump of lead looks a little like the damaged Flipper… have a fabulous 2013 too

The humans said that’s like a horoscope for the next year…but if you ask me, to got fleas is not really the “goal of the year” ;o)
Easy that lead thing really DOES look like a flea! I’ve never heard of the lead-pouring thing but it sounds lke an interesting way to look into the future…..fleas must be in your future…..! As for flipper – he’s “done for”…..his innards are now OUT and he needs some major surgery. You were just a little rough on him especially considering he was your BFF!! Here’s to a more GENTLE 2013!
